“A tasty taco spot that's almost a speakeasy! Los Reyes #2 from its facade looks like a convenient store, but like many other delicious taco places, it's hidden in the back. As you step in you can smell the delicious aromas from the front door. There's a small menu hung above a doorway and a glass window where several delectable delights await. The best part is that they have taco specials throughout the week! My favorite tacos were the Al pastor. Not what I've had in Mexico, but pretty good for being back in the states. They also sell large amounts to take home for family meals and there's tamales! The folks working were so nice! You'll have to be patient to place an order as they are cooking up magic in the back. This is also a great opportunity to practice your Spanish, as it seems preferred. While you wait there's plenty of yummy snacks and a whole dairy fridge to consider taking home. They also sell tortillas from Milagros. My personal favorite. Pair that with some oaxacan cheese and you'll have a yummy quesadilla. Lots of future meals to daydream about. After you get your order you'll pay at the front! Definitely worth a stop if you're in independence or shopping at Super G! It's right across the street.”

6728 Wilgrove Mint Hill Rd, Charlotte“Recently moved to this side of town. Caton's is right up the road and right on Statesville Ave. They've got air for your tires, gas and an extreme amount of snacks and beverages packed into this little spot. And they have a restroom, just ask. Mostly neighborhood people work and patronize this business, so everyone is pretty friendly. And a shout out to Bella (beautiful in Haitian), who keeps it running smooth. As always, be aware of your surroundings. 1632 S Tryon St, Charlotte“Great service - plentiful amount of options for any type of food or beverage that you can need. The owners are very nice and always welcoming and this is a staple of south end.”
“Good place for quick snack needs and has all sorts of nicknacks if you like that sort of stuff. They don’t sell gas anymore so it’s more of a corner store. Decent, beware of the expiration of some of the items. But over all good. The owner sunny is really pleasant to talk to!”

6301 South Blvd, Charlotte“We come to this place for their sweet bread and its always great. A lot of their other items are overpriced but not too bad. The staff is friendly and helping. We enjoy our visits.”
“While visiting a friend, I was in need of a late night snack along with some gas. Ended up at this location and reliased I have never heard of this place before. Totally looks like a ma and pa gas station but it is actually affiliated with BP gas. This gas station is also conveniently linked with Harris Teeter, so you can redeem your fuel points. This location has a carwash, air for tires and even an electric car charging port. Endless snacks to choose from and hot food ready to go. I came in at 9 p.m. and they had fresh hot dogs and taquitos.”
“Generally don't care about gas stations but I have to say the woman working on 1/24/2024 at around 6:00pm was the nicest, happiest clerk I have ever interacted with in 20 years of driving. I dont know what Harris Teeter is paying her, but they need to double it.”

“Great people over there! I asked for VooDoo Ranger Regular and Imperial and it took only a few days for them to accommodate me and garner new, regular business from my family. American haze would be nice too ;) Any VooDoo Ranger other than Juicy Haze really. Thanks guys!”
“I love shopping there. Been going there for about 6 years now. They are like family and know what I want every time. Great place, great people, and the store is well stocked with many product.”
“10/10!!! Recommend!! This place is well stocked and very VERY clean!! I don't know about y'all but it's has been hella to find a decent station that provides cleanliness and necessities. This place has soap and hand sanitizer that are full!! Friendly staff at a late hour and a security guard for peace of mind! Shout out to JAIMEE AND KODIE!! Very attentive and helped me find what I was looking for! I know it seems ridiculous to be this excited about a gas station, but trust me once you drive up to this store... you'll understand! The only thing you're gonna catch at this place... is good vibes!!”

8430 Monroe Rd, Charlotte“I love this gas station. It's a great place to stop. They stay open late but they are not 24/7. Well, the pumps are BP. The actual station itself is an Earps. They've got a large variety of snack foods and grab and go foods. My favorite would be the prepackaged red velvet cake pops.”

“Great store if you need to pick up alcohol, drinks, or snacks. Has a lot of your basic needs too. The staff there are always very pleasant too. The only con is not the fault of the store and can happen anywhere, but there are sometimes people outside asking for money”
“This is a really cool corner store ran by some very friendly people. As you look around you will find a lot of cultural items that are very cool. It is definitely worth checking out if you are in the area. It is not your typical run of the mill corner store because it does have that cultural twist to it.”

“You could definitely color me surprised when I pulled into Earp's and found a relatively modern and very clean convenience store. I think that BP as a "store" gets a (perhaps warranted) bad rap due to the vast majority of independent owners putting very little resources into the upkeep of their shops. Earp's appears to be the mirror opposite with great facilities and friendly staff. If you're coming into Charlotte from the Stanley County area then Earp's is especially convenient for you with a right turn in and a right turn out. If you're leaving town then I would suggest stopping here rather than somewhere else later because a lot of the convenience stores and gas stations beyond here are a bit sketchy. Staff-wise, Earp's is a breath of fresh air with genuinely happy people behind the counter. The selection of coffee is uncommon for a gas station as well. The only C-store I've seen with a wider array of coffee and tea is perhaps Sheetz (which you won't find within 50 miles of here). With only the Speedway convenience store across the street to compete with at this corner, Earp's is the clear winner. Ive got this place pinned on the map for my couple of trips a week to Albemarle from now on!”
