I recently stopped at this Citgo station out of necessity, as I was running low on fuel. To my dismay, I found the gas prices shockingly high, especially for the higher octane levels. While $3.29 for regular might be somewhat understandable given market fluctuations, the prices for 89 and 93 octane were exorbitantly high, reaching into the high fours and even $5.29 a gallon for 93. This is a price point I haven’t encountered in years, and it left me questioning whether there was a mistake or if this station’s pricing is just significantly higher than competitors, by about a dollar to a dollar and a half.
For reference, the QT off of N. Tryon, which is approximately 2 miles away, charges $3.71 for premium. This significant price difference only adds to my disappointment and confusion regarding Citgo’s pricing strategy. I would caution others to check local prices before stopping here, as the discrepancies are notable and could lead to unnecessary overpayment.

If the gas runs out, there are some that seem to fill your tank with air.
You don't arrive in the middle of the week.
There are very few Gas Stations that are good.
I have 3 that are the best for my expectations, this one arrived BY emergency, and yes.

I would give it a 5-star but I had problems with the pump reading my card and had to use another one. Otherwise, the facility was clean and neat on the inside and outside.
