I’m only given one star because Google makes you do it. I flew 2600 miles round-trip just to go see Dr. Wynn for this visit because he was my primary care physician and he knew everything about me so I thought it would be a easy pass just to go see him and to visit family for the holiday. I just paid a visit to Dr. Wynn at this location because the WT Harris location was full. I needed for Dr. Wynn to conduct a pre-medical exam for a preemployment upon checking in the nurse that was conducting the medical exam did not know what she was doing for a preemployment exam on the second note Dr. Wynn Took almost an hour and a half for him to get there. He did not listen to anything that I said he did not do anything that I told him to do. I needed a pre-medical exam statement from Dr. Wynn to the pre-employment employer, he did not do that. They stated that I refuse the Covid vaccine, that’s not true because the company that I currently work for administer the Moderna dose so I called back and told them that the company gave me the dose and they said that they would change it on the doctors notes. They still did not do it. Dr. Winn always does what he wants to do. He does not take any recommendations from his patients. He tried to say that I was still fat and overweight when I had a gastric bypass surgery three years ago and lost over 100 pounds my body mass index was below 40 which was a good healthy weight at being 6 foot 8. This practice needs some serious help. They need to have Wesley Thompson come back. He was nothing but the best all Dr. Wynn talked about was all the drama that Wesley had caused around the practices. Mandy is still a sweet person also…..but Dr. Wynn needs to retire. He’s just being grumpy and self-centered. If you need pain pills, this is the practice to join because Dr. Wynn loves to feed them to you just so you’ll return for more to make more money. All the patients in the lobby are strung out on pain pills, they only write good reviews for this doctor because he gives them pain pills high as a kite.

After reading some of the other reviews, I find myself compelled to write a review because I have always had a positive experience when interacting with anyone at this practice.I’ve been a patient for over 10 years and actually now drive over 2 hours from out of state just so I can continue receiving the care that I have grown accustomed to from what is now known as Amity Medical. I used to live in Charlotte and the thought of having to go through the process of finding another doctor that makes me comfortable and cares made me ill. (Pun intended)Thank you Wes, thank you Chad and thank you to every other staff member I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with.

Front desk staff is very unprofessional. Not only do they continuously lose my medical card but to top it off, the receptionist forgets to check me in. Waited for an hour because she forgot to notify the staff that I was here.

I'M ONLY GIVING ONE STAR BECAUSE GOOGLE MAKES YOU GIVE A RATINGDISCLAIMER - HANNAH KIM AND RICHARD WYNN ARE HORRIBLE MEDICAL PROFESSIONALSMy mother was a patient of Hannah Kim under the direction of Richard Wynn (I won't acknowledge him as a doctor) for about 3-4 months. Collectively they ignored every symptom my mother had that something other than her blood sugar was wrong. That man even refused to sign off on her handicap sticker "because he wanted her to get back to walking 2 miles a day" after she told him she would get winded just sitting up in bed. My mother died from pancreatic cancer on January 22, 2022. THEY NEVER EVEN REFERRED HER TO AN ENDOCRINOLOGIST.This practice even had the nerve to send me a bill after I spoke with them about their malpractice and their lack of care. Their false investigation was a joke. PLEASE do yourself a favor and go somewhere else

Best doctors with the worst front office processes. The phone skill keeps you in a never ending loop of options and sometimes will just hang up on you. It’s nearly impossible to get a real person on the phone. Their records are disorganized and mismanaged, they can never find even the most simple medical records. It’s truly not the people it’s the processes. All of the front office processes need a complete overhaul to make this a functioning practice. If you are new to Charlotte, I would recommend finding another provider as amity is sadly far behind in its services.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I definitely would! I felt cared for at this medical care center and this was evident in the kindness in which I was treated. Will definitely come back and recommend more of those around me to make an appointment here :)

Sent a message through their online portal —a few days before my prescription ran out—asking for a prescription refill on a very common med that I’ve been taking for years. Their disclaimer on messages says they will respond within 24 hours. Fine. 2 days later no response. I call the Monroe office. The person that answered sounded half asleep and like he could care less. Told me that their policy is that I need to make an appointment to be seen before they would issue a refill. So I scheduled an appointment with one of the other providers as I was told it would be a while before I could get an appointment with my regular doctor. I kindly asked this person if they could issue an emergency refill just for a week until I could be seen. He said that he would check with the doctor. Have not received a response or call back as of yet. So looks like I’ll be without meds for about 6 days. I can’t imagine if my meds were for more serious health issues like heart meds etc.
