We are big fans of Medlin-Davis, and have used their services for over 20 years. Wherever we live in the Triangle, (Chapel Hill and Apex as a student, and Raleigh and Morrisville post grad,) Medlin-Davis is consistently excellent, efficient, and ever so helpful. I periodically have Merlin Davis pick up my dry cleaning and return the cleaned garments on a regular schedule. They never miss a beat, and the finished product is always excellent. TLDR: they will SHRINK your cashmere and wool. I am livid. Prior to moving out of state, I had my two favorite cashmere sweaters dry cleaned here. I then packed them up and moved. I recently unpacked and tried them on. THEY BOTH SHRANK SIGNIFICANTLY!!! It's literally as if someone washed them in hot water and stuck them in a dryer. The fabric is tight and felted and shrunken. I am so upset because now I no longer live nearby, otherwise I would go there myself and complain. Now all I can do is warn others here on Yelp. If you like your clothes, GO ELSEWHERE! If you are hoping to pass your adult sized clothes on to a toddler, try this place out.

Honestly would've appreciated a quote before dropping off my duvet + 3 clothing items. I can appreciate that they are more eco-friendly; however, $65 for 4 items is a bit excessive.
