Great hardware store for certain items

On the very rare occasion that anyone actually answers the phone in a department (particularly the paint department) the phone will ring forever they will finally pick up, not say a word (although you can hear talking in the background) then immediately hang up on you. This has happened multiple times on multiple different occasions when trying to find out if they have an item in stock. If you could trust the online inventory #'s (which are often inaccurate) then this would not be an issue. Because the staff won't answer the phone (or just hang up on you when they do) and because of inaccurate online stock #'s your only choice is to waste your time going to the store only to find out the online "in stock" item isn't "in stock" . Terrible customer service and unreliable online inventory #'s means I'll go to Home Depot from now on-at least there they answer the phone and try to help.

The product I needed was in stock, as stated online. The item was reasonably priced based on the quality. I received assistance in plumbing when I asked, and I received assistance with loading the heavy box.
But...my box was damaged, and I had to take the risk that nothing was damaged or missing. Many of the boxes in the bath section were damaged, opened, or re-sealed. On the shower door isle, there are broken displays and a general disorder. Unfortunately, there are many aisle in disorder with missing products and displays. It is a very dirty Lowes, shelves, old stock, and floors. It was more like being in a discount warehouse, just not discount pricing. This Lowe's has one of the worst loading areas I have experienced as it is not covered, and I had to park in a travel lane with a dually. I'm hopeful someone at the headquarters will read the recent reviews, actually visit the store, look past the receipts, and make the needed improvements. This is a high volume store that has lost its identity. I will stick with Mebane and Roxboro.

Store has really gone down hill over the years. Always a mess and no help. Atleast it's convenient.

The Chapel Hill Lowes is dysfunctional. I have been waiting for a refund of almost $1,000 for over a month - corporate Lowe's got involved and requested a refund - but the local store still hasn't provided.

Absolute worst restrooms! Staff wandering the aisles are oblivious. I walked the entire store without being greeted or asked if I needed assistance.

Horrible service in the hardware section. Needed assistance and the associate dedicated to this area came across as being inconvenienced and grumpy. Good bye Lowe's of Chapel Hill. Never again ?
