“Great service and very nice!! I had a mishap traveling from Richmond to chapel hill Thursday afternoon. A FedEx truck had lost several large sections of tire tread on 85 south that I could not avoid. I ran over the tire tread which damaged my car's undercarriage tray. When I got to my sister's in chapel hill I called the closest auto shop I could find. The gentleman that answered listened to my mishap and stated he would certainly help me out. I drove over and of course I need to have the tray replaced however the 2 gentlemen were able to secure the tray until I got back to Richmond. I will definitely keep this shop in mind when I visit as well as my sister was very impressed with the friendly services. Not overpriced or did not tried to take advantage of my problem. “When I first inquired at Chapel Hill Tire on Fordham Blvd regarding their ability to resolve for us a long-standing vehicle issue, Bobby responded by saying that he had a high degree of confidence in CHT's Certified Mechanics, and his faith in the abilities of his mechanics proved to be well founded as within the span of a single year, the mechanics at Chapel Hill Tire resolved for us two long standing issues with our vehicles that the respective dealerships had been unable to correct! First, CHT restored the A/C on our 2007 Honda Civic to perfect working order by tracing the source of the A/C problem that we had been living with for over two years to an intermittently malfunctioning relay-switch! Likewise, CHT resolved another long-standing problem regarding multiple intermittent false-warning lights displaying on our 2014 Subaru Forester's dash that the Subaru Dealer's shop had declared to be "just something you'll have to live with"! CHT immediately determined the source of the malfunction to be a faulty taillight and quickly resolved that problem as well! Needless to say, Chapel Hill Tire is now our first choice for auto maintenance and repair!”
“I bring my own supplies and CHT provides the labor. They rotate my tires for free and drain trans and oil change for what I used to pay at a competitor. Love the fact that the will drive me home after dropping off my car. No need to Uber which in the mornings can be expensive. “I had a very good experience last week when I went to take my car in for an oil change. The person who checked me in was polite, gave me a time frame for my car being done & it was done when they said it would be. They offered coffee and bottles of water to those waiting, and a very nice gentleman was on hand to give customers a ride home. They also texted me several times to keep me up to date including a report of each part of my car they checked and how that part was performing and pictures of my tires to let me know how they looked in terms of tread for my tire rotation.”
“I called for an inspection appointment at 2:35 pm for same day (Friday) after been rejected or postponed for 1+ week in 2 other businesses. I arrive at 3:08 pm, the tech who received my car was very courteous and knowledgeable (specially about the different counties inspection requirements) to be short, at 3:30 pm I was driving my car fully inspected and without pushing sales speeches to get more business from me. Definitely, I’m looking forward to take my car there for future services. Recommended without reserve!”
