“I've been going to Conners store for 40 years they are the most friendly down to earth people you've ever met always smiling.they have almost anything your looking for and the price are really good also you can get everything from fuel to propane fresh vegetables to meats and snack drinks ECT. I will shop here as long as this store is open .”

“Publix is one of my favorites! Their stores that I have visited in the Charlotte Region are always clean, well stocked and convenient. Most staff is helpful courteous. The two or three that weren't I presume they were having a tough day. Kudos to Publix for creating an awesome shopping experience for me. The prices are not the least expensive, however, I'll take the tradeoff of a cleaner, well stocked store any day.”
“Love this Food Lion. The people that work there are like family. They go out of there way to be friendly and helpful. When walk in most of cashiers and other employees say hi and how are you doing? It is like being in a small town where everyone knows everyone!”
“This place is great for produce and dried food such as pasta, rice, beans etc. Good for picking up eggs bread and milk. Meat prices are high though. We now head over to IGA Buffalo Shoals for our meat after buying the rest of our groceries here. Also their 'fresh' bread is brought in frozen in the mornings. If they fixed these two issues I would give 5 stars. Staff are always great!”
“This food lion ish the best in my opinion they have more selection of items and a lot more meats to chose from and it seams alot cleaner it has easy access for wheelchairs and very friendly staff”

“I like this place because it's not as crowded as Walmart. And a lot of times their fruit is fresher. So fresh or food and you do not have to battle as bigger crowd is a plus in my book.”

“Updated - the more we come here, the more we love this place. Staff are all great and so warm and friendly. A little pricey still (compared to ALDI) but we just limit what we get to a few competitively priced items here. Thankful we have this Publix!”

“I frequent the dollar general often. I pay my phone bill there, do some minor shopping and in a pinch buy motor oil or car care products. Prices are comparable to Walmart but it always seems like the shelves are never stocked. They need better help and it would be a great store”

“Although I don't shop for groceries here, I do enjoy the hot bar several times a week, for lunch. This is the best deal for take out, period. Good food, good choices, great price. Forget all of those losers with drive thru service and over priced "meals". Go to Ingles and walk to the back, right corner of the store for the best deal at lunch or dinner.”
“Very good i would come to this dollar general more often but sadly I live in Alabama. It was clean and had a wide variety of foods. I found a peanut butter and jelly jar that was swirly and tasted delicious. I would recommend it if you are in a pinch and need food for a low price and high qualify.”
“The Conover Farmers Market just keeps getting better. From craft vendors, produce growers, local honey, plants for sale and a coffee truck and live music something for everyone.The Conover Farmers Market runs May - Aug.”
“The Manager was so very helpful and super nice, and not to just me, but to everyone that I saw enter the store. Also there was a little old lady in line in front of us and she had some groceries,she was trying to pay with her ebt card,but it kept denying her. After 3 tries, the manager told her she would pay for her groceries!!! The little lady was so touched by her kindness that she started to cry. I think we all had tears! In today's world that is so full of hate, it was so nice seeing a wonderful act of kindness! Good job hiring this one!!!”

“This dollar general SAVED me. I had been traveling back from a ministry event and my car broke down in their parking lot. I live over an hour away from here and my phone was gunna die before I could even call for help. I came walking into the building with tears running down my face, my phone dead. One of the wonderful ladies who worked here came right to me, let me use her charger, and I had no money so she bought me a drink. She let me walk around the store to calm down and call my dad while it poured down rain outside. I would have been lost without her in a place I’ve never been before. Thank you Dollar General for hiring such beautiful people I hope she is having a blessed day.”
“Great short stop for history. Last remaining structure of this truss type. One of only two remaining covered bridges in NC. Short, easy hike.
I would advocate for a better viewing opportunity for pictures, and that folks would stop defacing the Interior of the structure with graffiti.”

“Went in today and was greeted by a young gentleman. He greeted all the customers entering. Being the only person there, he made sure every person was acknowledged. I purchased a half dozen of plates and bowls and he made sure to take the time to wrap each one. Another young man came in, a new employee, and he asked if he had begun his training. The new employee answered no and said he was immediately put to work. The young gentleman seemed a little upset by this. It seems he understands the concept that you have to invest and train your employees. You have to put time into them in order for them to be the best they can be. I don’t know what the young man’s name was—but Dollar General did something amazing when they got him. Amazing service and hands on with his associates.”
