Horrible. I got all my things loaded on the uhaul and got to the storage and was not able to get in it because no one gave me the code to the locker and it was a holiday so no one was available to talk to me. The online chat person (Brandon) told me he couldn’t help me either, I had to wait to the next business day! So I was stuck with a truck full of my belongings and nowhere to put them. The only reason I am giving them 1 star is because I have to give them them something to submit this comment.

Melissa is great! She's so helpful. Place is so clean and well kept. Never needed a storage unit before. But I'm impressed.

The folks at Midgard Self-Storage, Darrell and Melissa, are wonderful to work with. We were in a bind and they treated us like family. I’m thankful for the laughs and the good conversation we had as we were checked in. They made me feel at home and like a had friends here already. I couldn’t say enough about these two individuals.The facility is extremely clean and well kept. The units and spaces are very nice. I’m impressed with this property and business, and I just came from Washington state where we have some of the newest, most state of the art storage facilities, etc. This place did not disappoint. And again, I’m thankful I was treated with so much grace and kindness. It’s been a rough move and we’re still in flux as our house here fell through and we’re a family of 6 plus a cat and a dog, and too much stuff.May God richly bless those who give to the needy and the widows in their time of need. This is how we were treated, and it helped me gain some momentum for the next step. Thank you, Darrell and Melissa.

After two years we had to say goodbye to our friend Darryl at Midgard. The furniture stayed in excellent shape as if it was the first day of our move into our unit. Darryl, the store manager exceeded our expectations throughout our stay and by providing us U-Haul equipment promptly and the day we required the equipment to working with us on closing out the unit. He was very pleasant and easy to work with due to his years of experience at Midgard. We are grateful to have had this experience and appreciate his support!

Polite, professional and friendly service, with a good selection of equipment for rental. The storage unit I rented was clean, climate controlled and cost effective for my needs. Again, the friendly service makes doing but there a pleasure!

Initially I gave them 5 stars and an excellent review, which can still be read here . I have decided to change that review since my initial cost was $118.00 per month and it is now $155.00. They added 9 plus for the insurance which is fine because I canceled my private rental insurance but the additional $30.00 per month is just insane. I think it's just another example of greed rum wild. I am moving out the end of December because I looked around and found another storage for 30 dollars less. The facilities are fine and the staff are wonderful but these days 30 dollars goes a long ways and I have no tolerance for the latest greedy tactics of businesses.The facility is secure , good location in Castle Hayne NC and the main reason for the good rating is the customer service. The gentleman in the office is ALWAYS helpful, friendly, kind and willing to go above and beyond to make sure you are happy . I would totally refer family and friends in need of long term climate controlled storage. I do wish the prices were cheaper for storage facilities especially if you have to have it long term. Maybe a longterm discount. If the prices were cheaper I would probably just leave me overflow belongings there longterm but I can't keep it for years because of money. It seems more logically to just buy a building for the house.

Very accommodating, professional and friendly staff.Was disappointed that I was not permitted to park my utility trailer in my RV space. Overall I’m pleased with Midgard Self Storage and definitely recommend this facility.

We rented a unit online and the information and process was so easy! We received all the necessary info to get into our unit and the climate controlled area is nice and clean and easy or navigate.
