“One of my favorite stores to visit in Wilmington. The staff are very attentive and friendly. Not to mention it always smells absolutely amazing in the store anytime I visit. The store is always clean and organized. Love it!”
“Absolutely wonderful staff. Especially Randa! I can’t say enough about how great she is! I came into the store looking for artificial flowers for my wedding arch. Randa not only helped me find the right flowers but she taught me how to construct the bundles for the arch. She took a great deal of time out of her day to listen to me and help me create my DIY vision. She knew exactly how many of each flower and greenery piece I would need then instructed me on how to place and hang the décor. She provided me with my best bridal experience yet! I am incredibly grateful for her!”
“This store was clean and well laid out. It's easy to find things, and the merchandise is marked well ( prices, etc.. ). The staff were nice and helpful. The selection of merchandise is large. That all said, the most confusing aspect of the store is the pricing. This is a "discount" themed store. Frankly, there were and are some real bargains to be had, but some items were priced very oddly on the high side. For Instance 20oz Gatorade drinks (singles, not refrigerated) were priced at nearly $3 ( sams club sells a case of 24 for around $18(~$0.75 per bottle) at the time of this review). I would expect those prices at a convenience store or gas station, not a discount department store. This is just one example, but I found many items in the store with oddly high prices. I would caution shoppers to be wary and shop with care. Overall it's a good store and I had a good experience. ?”
“My grandaughter loves this store and frequently asks me to take her there after school. The sales associates are very young and, to my pleasant surprise, very kind and helpful.”
“LOL, Okay Okay, I hear ya, but the Kids are part of Ollies Army, so lets check out the one near the house. I got yo admit it is a great concept, Overstock Items, Mass purchases from Locations or Semi tractor accidents, that everything is undamaged and sold cheap. They really do have brand name stuff and it is cheap, but if you have never been to a place like this, there is nothing fancy. Peruse the store and find everything from Kitchen, Garden, Electronics, Electrical, PC, Home goods etc. Great way to burn time.”
“This is another Gabe's however it's located on Shipyard road. This has become one of my favorite stores! Inside you will find items such as clothing and shoes for the entire family! They also have furniture, houseware, Kitchen items such as dishes, mixers, bowls, bakeware, utensils. Clothing items are name brands such as Vans, Nike, Micheal Kors and many of the high end names! Bedding, personal hygiene, I can go on best thing to do is get in your car and head over! It's a half day shopping here for me! I saw the coming soon sign and finally they opened and it did not disappoint.The employees are very happy to help you if you are looking for something particular. I've been to this store location 2 times and I will say kudos to the employees! This store is huge inside and it takes a lot to keep it clean from customers dropping clothing and things on the floor , shoes out of place etc. Meanwhile, employees are working hard to ensure things are where need to be. Best store ever with prices that seriously are hard to beat . The pictures are just a few I took of the furniture that's not all by no means. I was so busy looking myself (more to post )”
“I used to work at a Dollar I must have people there wouldn't take time out of their day to help the customersbut at this Dollar general everybody took time out to help their customers and make sure they got what they needed and if they need help with what they were trying to find the employees would help they were absolutely amazing and very very courteous and did their job like they were supposed to”
“Pretty good store for some nice finds and prices. I find on many items in comparison to other stores Dollar General prices are far cheaper. The store is always clean and very easy to find what you need. A lot of sales go in weekly so if you have the app you'll be able to see upcoming deals! I also like that they carry vitamins now more than what they used to some years ago. The buy one get one half off it great! So , i usually load up on vitamins here. Especially when flu season is approaching. I've never came to this store and had a bad experience.”

“Nice Family Dollar has alot of freezer stuff and tons of drink selection. A bit messy last time I was in there. Employees were awesome. Did notice a sign that said opens at 2 PM not sure what that about just noticed it. Seems like with a certain kind of leadership this store has potential to be amazing.”

“From the UK, I was in Wilmington on business and stopped by the store (twice) to pick up some US snacks to take back for my kids. A really lovely lady helped me to choose - probably the nicest shop assistant I've ever come across. I wish she could have seen the reaction of the kids to the Takis she recommended - it was hilarious. My eldest daughter literally cried eating them! Their favourites were the N*** Clusters - thank you so much!!”
“This is by far the cleanest most organized dollar general I have ever visited. Also the staff are always friendly. Layla was the most sincerely nicest cashier I have ever encountered.”
“Has what I need cheaper than the bigger stores and grocery stores. Friendly employees here, they know us when we come in. Can be a little messy and crowded when they are putting up inventory during the day, but all in all can't complain about this location”

“They keep there aisles clean! Great service always. And through this crazy year they continue to have toilet paper and paper towels! Cute trinkets, cool cooking stuff, decorationa, and much much more! I stop here usually once a week after my grocery run across the street! 10 out of 10 starts for me ?!”

Jada has a great personality and answered all my questions The store has a good selection of candles and fragrances at fair prices.Found a very cool rug for 15.00. I like the store and especially the sense of feeling like my business is valuable. Thank you Jada for ‘keepin it real’. You are an asset to Family Dollar. I will return. Peace”
“they have some great deals pretty nice store for what's available in the immediate area. walking distance from riverfront hotels. I have a six pack of very large paper towels for $4.50 and toilet paper for a $1 same as Dollar Tree for which is higher now... 3 oz golden crisp cereal which is very very fresh and good for only $2.25 every day”
“The staff are always very nice and helpful. The store itself is never fully stocked because they don't have enough staff . The shoplifters are bold, and the poor staff are helpless even when it is happening in front of them , they are so overwhelmed and visibly frustrated. The Dollar General Company needs to get it together. The employees work very hard , they deserve better pay & more security. The local WPD is never helpful.”
