Great stay! Great staff! Great breakfast selection, I liked that they did some different items each day so you weren't seeing the same options each day. Only the staple items didn't change, like waffles and cereals.Food & drinks: Plenty of food options within 6 min drive. Walmart is in walking distance as well.

WORST HILTON EVER - If you'd like to pay Hilton prices for a Motel 6, stay here. Our tub had a layer of brown grime, as if some super-grody person took a bath and the grime was left behind when they drained it. Chipped paint on the metal doors, grime buildup on the walls, ONE towel left for us in the bathroom, musty smell, worn, outdated carpet, and generally not clean. Slow, creaky elevator and decor probably from the '80s. I asked for the room to be cleaned since it was so filthy, and was promised it would be done by the time I came back in about an hour. I came back to zero cleaning - nothing was done. The front desk manager promised a visit right away from the housekeeping manager, and after quite awhile, I'm still waiting in my filthy room. I'm a diamond member and I stay in a lot of Hiltons - this is by far the worst. I wish 0 stars was an option.

Honestly, the Hilton brands are no longer living up to their parent company's image. Hampton Inn used to be a prime hotel for families and causal travel. I, once again, was disappointed with this specific Hilton offshoot. The entry was fine, but the hallways and elevator speak to the actual age of the hotel. We found a lot of chipped paint and old musty carpet. The room was clean enough however the bathroom needed a more thorough floor cleaning. There was a LOT of grime behind the door of the bathroom. The hotel also did not have working ice machines and at one point during our stay, they ran out of washcloths. The front desk staff was nice but seemed not to follow directions too well (including their own). The hot breakfast was alright. The only issue was the canned fruit. Everything tasted like pineapple lol.It was an adequate stay but if your budget allows, go for a better quality hotel or the Courtyard that is located down the road.

The staff was very nice, the shower water was hot, and the beds were not uncomfortable. However, the hotel looks like it was last updated in the 1990s. The bathroom off the lobby was pretty beat up (ceiling tiles were gross, stains on the wallpaper), and the bathroom in our room had no toilet paper holder. Just dumpy-looking overall, and disappointing compared to other hotels we stay at for similar sports tournaments.

Location is great. Staff super helpful on room maintenance issues, which were promptly fixed. Cleanliness excellent. Fitness center had TV but no remote to turn it on, was way too small, and had a weight scale but it did not work. Positive: room had the largest and coldest refrigerator I've ever had in any hotel room, regardless of category. In my experience, within the Budget category, Hampton is just below average.

Let me start by saying the staff is very friendly and helpful the exterior is nice and the lobby is very spacious and clean, looks updated. When you go up to your room you will see the place is very dated, the carpeting in the hallways are super dated and the doors look dingy. My bed was really out dated and walls are lumpy. There’s also a lady that lives there, she walks around talking to the guest including myself and asking us personal questions. A lot of us were waiting in the lobby until 3:30 to check in. I was just really shocked by this as the price of the room that night was pretty high.

The staff was so welcoming, thank you to the team at Hampton Inn Raleigh/Cary. Kionna went above and beyond, while the rest of the staff was extremely pleasant. Easy location and was very convenient while I was in the area for a wedding.

First - I want to say that the staff were super friendly, courteous, and helpful. I was impressed with how warm and welcoming everyone was.The hotel building seems very outdated, and there are a lot of minor maintenance problems that add up to paint a picture of a hotel in disrepair. One of the elevators was out of order for the entire 4 days we were there. The smoke detector in the 4th floor hallway is anchored to the ceiling using an unconventional "screw + washer" setup. My room *did not have a toilet paper holder* and I looked forever to find the TP (there was a brand-new roll on the top shelf, which I couldn't actually see from the toilet). Tons of mismatched paint/patches on the walls, chairs in the dining area falling apart. Very dirty plugs and Ethernet ports in the high-top table. The back door (to the pool, I think?) doesn't reliably latch. Other than that, the room was clean and comfortable. I slept fine and the thermostat/AC worked as expected. The Wi-Fi signal in my room was fine, but the free Wi-Fi was limited to such slow speeds that it was unusable for any social media apps - even without considering streaming video. Just scrolling Facebook or Instagram was so bad that I just resorted to cellular data if I needed to access any of that.Breakfast food was also pretty rough. Each of the 3 different types of sausage were differently rubbery. The eggs were also rubbery. There didn't appear to be any non-dairy milk (almond, oat, etc.) to have with cereal. Since I can't consume plain milk, that limited my options. I just felt like everything available for breakfast was kind of disappointing. (biscuits would've been nice!). Ultimately, after having the breakfast for 2 days, by the last day I simply had a bagel and orange juice because the rest of it wasn't worth eating. The toaster seems incredibly inconsistent. I tried the same settings but still ended up with bagels anywhere from "warm" to "charred". I didn't try the room coffee but my colleague said it came out exceptionally weak. The dining area's coffee was pretty good though. The enormous sunken hole in the road just outside the parking lot on the NE side doesn't help the overall perception of the hotel. I assume that's the city's responsibility, but the hotel might want to engage them to get that fixed. As a business traveler, I absolutely could not recommend this hotel based on my experience.Nearby activities: It's close to the hospital if you need to stay longer-term to visit a loved one.A short walk away, there's a dive bar called "Backstage" if you want a beer late at night. It's mostly regulars and has a very odd vibe, but the staff are nice and the music is good.

The hotel and rooms are very dated. The beds are not comfortable. The elevator is very slow and only one of them works so it can be a wait for the elevator especially if you’re on the top floor. The cookies in the lobby were an exciting treat my kid looked forward to every afternoon while staying here.Rooms: Dated, not comfortable

My stay here has been quite phenomenal. The rooms are clean and the staff diligently keeps them that way. The location is great and easy to get in and out of with multiple ways in and out of the parking area. I have not met a single employee with a bad attitude at all during my multi-week stay here. Highly recommend.Rooms: The cleanliness of the rooms was remarkable. Normally, every hotel I've been to, I can always find something that was missed in the cleaning but not here.Safety: It's a quiet location and not much foot traffic and in a safe area.Walkability: There are several stores and restaurants within walking distanceFood & drinks: The breakfast here has been wonderful every day I've been.

The rooms were ok. Bathroom dated. Air was not working in the hallway which was extremely hot. It’s an older hotel. My digital key would not work with my room door. For what I paid and it being Cary, I expected a better hotel. This was not a $165 a night room.

The hotel is located next to Wake Med. We stayed there for just that reason. There's a discounted rate for hospital patients. Mention it when you make reservations. Rooms are nice. Beds are comfy. They have USB ports to charge your devices if you don't have a plug. They have a hot breakfast which is fantastic. Parking is plentiful. Only issue is that crossing the road to get in is a bit of a struggle if you're coming in from the westbound side. It can also be a chore to get out if you're going west.

Got this since it was a Hilton, but basically felt like a Motel 6. Very outdated rooms, they looked like it was 1989. The ice machines were broken and it was very humid on each floor? If you're going to Koka Booth and don't care have at it, but its so outdated.Employees were great though!

This hotel does not meet my expectations for a Hilton property. It is in desperate need of renovations. The outdated decor and furnishings make it feel rundown and dirty. The floor in one of the elevators was noticeably dirty and remained that way our entire stay. There was, what looked like, mold in our bathtub, the toilet seat didn't match the shape of the actual toilet bowl, the couch cushions in our room didn't seem like they matched the couch, and the couch overall looked stained. I passed the pool and it was empty and full of debris. I am honestly very disappointed that I used my Hilton honors points to book a room at this hotel. The staff was courteous but that doesn't make up for the shortcomings of the hotel overall. We have family in the area, when we visit again we will book at another hotel.

We hosted a large family gathering in March. Several of our family members stayed here and enjoyed the accommodations. It was nice to find a hotel where family members could bring their dog. The breakfast was delicious. The lobby was a wonderful gathering area, and the cookies are delicious. We reserved the meeting room for a more private gathering area. The hotel staff was very helpful setting up tables and chairs so we could host a family birthday party. Overall a great experience!
