Ravenox was contracted to assist in supporting various fiber rope applications for our project in the removal of the Golden Ray shipwreck salvage. Versabar has been conducting offshore construction operations for more than 15 years and selection of the right subcontractors is critical to success. THe Golden Ray project had its own unique challenges, while being the largest shipwreck to be salvaged in U.S. history.Maritime industry and offshore construction standards as well as USCG standards had to be met. Utilizing a competent company who could support our operations with rope supposition and other related scopes of work during the salvage and construction activities was paramount. Dyneema, HMPE, poly, and various other types of rope, line and cord were utilized during the yearlong operation. Unique environmental conditions were a hazard to contend with and selection of the right material for each application was paramount for job success. Ravenox helped identify, select and support these decisions throughout the process.Heavy lifting, vessel mooring, and vessel towing were all conducted among many other operations throughout the campaign. The project was comprised of a large fleet of ships and other vessels all utilizing some form of rope almost daily. Ravenox was able to assist and react quickly with not just rope applications but also in circumstances where special purpose chaffing gear was required with complex environmental and installation criteria had to be met.Industry knowledge and customer support are critical to successful operations. Ravenox exceeded expectations in every way in meeting project requirements, assisting with unforeseen challenges, and supporting our team onsite throughout the offshore salvage campaign.

Rope will come a full quarter inch smaller diameter than listed. Was extremely patient and professional for weeks up to this review.Ravenox will take their sweet time, demand multiple pictures, tell you your measuring wrong, then finally say the rope will "swell" when you take it off spool and refuse to accept return without charging you for shipping and a restocking fee.I'm three weeks into this issue. Don't waist your valuable time and money. It's not just the cotton rope, ordered 3/8" nylon rope that came 1/8" they still haven't addressed at all.If I could attach pictures I would. Very frustrating as a small business owner under timelines. Have not had this problem with SGT Rope.Ravenox, are you ready to accept this return or do I need to dispute this with my bank?

Do not do business with this company!! We ordered rope, was the wrong rope when we got it!! We had to pay to send it back, and they would not refund the full amount which is now in dispute!! Customer service keeps trying to convince us it’s the right rope!! We know rope, we know what is right for us, no need to continue to tell us “we are wrong” !! So if you want to pay $100 for something that might not be for you, and continue to argue with customer service, after we tried to handle it professionally, order from here, but if you want to order from a professional place, I would suggest ordering elsewhere!! Yep, we are out $100 for rope we sent back!! These people are terrible!! I have never in my life dealt with such unprofessional people in business!! Good luck if you order from here, because if the rope isn’t right, they will continue to email you over and over, and you will not receive your full amount in refund!!!

Do not do business with this company. Their customer service is horrific at best, and you will be yelled at by their representatives. False advertising is rampant on their website to include shipping times and what you will receive when ordering. You will be hung up on, and they will not answer the phone again.

I have contacted your customer service people and told them I would like to purchase 600 ft of rope. I am an hour away and would like to pick it up saving the 200.00 shipping charge. I was told I was not allowed to pick it due to covid. My question is if I pay for it over the phone, have your people load it in the back of a pick up and drive away how is there any possible exposure? You talk about being small business minded, however, when budget is an issue for a small business you really don't care. I have tried to call and speak to Sean the owner but was unable to get through for the lady I spoke to would not put me through and told me that there are no pick ups again and would not pass along the message for him to call me back. The small business seems to be more of a marketing ploy then the truth

I needed some ropes for my 31' trawler that was just purchased as the old lines were dirty, frayed and just looked out of place. The new lines that I got from the Ravenox website were just as good in person as they looked on their website. Thanks again to the staff at Ravenox for providing such a quality product.
