This stay was ok for an outrageous price!!! Ya it was cool that it had a hot tub but honestly....should have stayed at the casino for the price me and two others had to split for.

Awesome place to stay. Several cabins available. Had to come back and add some to this review. Nice and secluded spot to just relax. First thing I do is check the toilet paper situation. After years and years in the Army, TP is just a comfort I dont like going without. Unlike commercial joints, they actually had a nice charmin type of paper. It's the little things that make us happy.
Remember you are visiting the mountains and the drive leading to the cabin is steep. Make sure you got the pep to move up the hill and brakes to stop on the way down.
My second morning I awoke before the rest of my crew and just sat outside and relaxed watching the morning come to us. So relaxing to not be bothered by the hustle and bustle of the city.
You will not be disappointed by your stay here. The hot tub sits just down a slight hill from the house. It could use a few more lights or a set of rope lights leading to the pool, sais the city women who were with me. But as a side note, if you bring a woman who is petrified of the dark, don't look back at the house after a few hours and wave and say hello friend. That girl came unglued. Funniest thing I seen in awhile.

Upon our arrival, we were greeted by the proprietor who promptly began to refer to local landmarks using racial epithets. When my friend indicated that we didn't appreciate such language, he responded with, "well y'all are from Louisiana, right?" He then proceeded to launch into a racist rant. As we repeatedly tried to excuse ourselves from this uncomfortable situation, he asked that we come and drink whiskey with him one night before we left. Real class act!

The cabin is fine, my rating is a reflection of the misinformation provided to us when making our reservation. For 15 years we have visited the Smokies with our truck, enclosed motorcycle trailer and our motorcycle. The roads coming and going from the cabin are very important to us as well as space to park and maneuver our truck and trailer. Before renting Erika’s Dream I asked the proprietor the same 5 questions I ask all cabin rental places. The information provided to me was false. It was so bad we left the cabin and stayed at a hotel in Cherokee for the remainder of our vacation. Because the cabin rental place has a 7 day cancellation policy we got stuck paying for the entire cabin rental plus the hotel stay. I am writing this review to let others know about the horrible road conditions to the cabin as well as the cancellation policy. If you have questions when renting from this group, get your answers in writing.

Awesome place for a family...3 large beds, full kitchen equipped with everything you need including a blender, mixer, pots and pans, baking sheets, plenty of towels for 3 days, and a short walk to the river. Ran out of time to use the hot tub, but it's in a secluded location up stairs in the back. The owner did a break job furnishing the cabin. Location easy to access the Blue Ridge Parkway, Cherokee, Santass Land, casino, etc. Would come back again! Way better than a hotel!

Your cabin was so perfect it made me want to cry. You truly have the most beautiful home and land for miles around. It is quite clear that you have invested your time and care to the upkeep of your property.
We took our 6yr old daughter with us to your cabin and she was infatuated with everything. My husband was ecstatic about the outdoor space, especially the front and back porch areas. I especially love all the cozy decor inside. The bedding was a dream come true and the hot tub was just perfect. I have no doubt that your cabin will live up to all the bragging we intend to do.

First off- I don't know how I was able to reserve this place (Erika's Dream) only a few days before Memorial Day weekend. The pricing was totally reasonable, easily competitive with ANY cabin within an hour of Bryson City. The host was very personable and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed and there were no issues. No issues arose, so no assistance was ever needed. The cabin was awesome. Great hot water, fully furnished- all we needed to get was beer and food. Beds were so comfy, we really had a great time. The road/driveway going up to the cabins is pretty sketchy, so might not be a wise option if you have a low-clearance car. Our truck was fine.
The cabins are only like a 4 minute drive from the Tuckasegee River, and they have river access on the property if you want to fish near the cabins.
Will return again in the future.
