“I have a yellow Labrador retriever who I am partnered with as my hearing service dog. Lawndale Veterinary Hospital recently cared for her as she had an ear infection. They saw her the same day that I called which is so important to me for her care as I worry about her for everything! She responded to her medication right away which made me extremely happy that she was on her way to recovery!

“I've been bringing my dogs here a few years and always appreciated the personal attention everyone gives. After being at a previous vet's office that felt like a cold clinic, it's been nice to feel like this staff actually cares.Our oldest girl, a mini dachshund, had some skin issues that couldn't get resolved. I'd spent a lot of money and time on visits, shots and meds at the previous vet. One of the doctors here got her skin in better shape with the recommendation of regular bathing in medicated shampoo and cleaning skin folds with medicated pads. It really made her quality of life better and I was able to stop the allergy meds!Unfortunately, she recently became ill and it was time for a difficult decision. I'm grateful for Dr. Poore and Andrew's kindness, respect and compassionate care of me and our girl when it was time to say goodbye.”

“This review is long overdue, and I'm not sure if Dr. Julian Pearce is still practicing here, but I want to express my gratitude for his compassion and efficiency. Several years ago (around 2016), my mom and I encountered a stray kitten showing symptoms of heatstroke. We promptly visited Dr. Pearce, who saw us quickly and explained everything during the consultation. He was remarkably gentle and kind, especially considering I was much younger at the time. He did an excellent job comforting me, a distressed child witnessing the sad end to the kitten's life. Dr. Pearce determined that euthanasia was the most humane option and performed it at no cost. Throughout the entire process, he patiently explained each step.
On another occasion, our family found an abandoned kitten that wasn't feeding. Fortunately, my mom encountered Dr. Pearce at PetSmart. Once again, he generously provided guidance at no charge, directing us to the appropriate formula for the kitten and offering detailed instructions on feeding amounts, duration, and other helpful advice.
I'm deeply grateful to have met someone as kind and helpful as Dr. Pearce. He's truly one of a kind and will not be forgotten.”

“Absolutely phenomenal care! Brought my cat here at 4:30 AM for respiratory distress. I was immediately checked in and my cat was taken back within minutes of our arrival. The staff was incredibly compassionate and informative, and made sure to go over every diagnostic and treatment with me before performing anything on my cat, making sure I fully understood what was going on. I am so grateful to the entire staff for their professionalism as well as their obvious care for animals and what they do. Although I hope I have no more animal emergencies, if I do, I will be coming back to Happy Tails for sure.”

“We reached out to set up a Pre-Purchase exam for a horse we are interested in. Our experience was wonderful! The reception staff were kind and communicated well. I am out of state and the whole team made communication very easy. They even agreed to do a Zoom call with a video so we could be a part of the PPE exam on the horse. Dr. Shanahan was amazing. She thoroughly examined the horse, explained all aspects of what she was doing, and answered any questions. The team was kind and calm with the young horse and had excellent patience and care. At the end of the exam, I felt confident we knew this horse's health and could confidently decide whether to purchase. If I lived near this clinic I would be using them. I recommend this doctor and clinic for PPE.”
