We were visiting Brevard and needed new tires on our trailer. After making 1 phone call and confirming they had the tires I needed I was told to come on down and they said I would be taken care of. About 2 hours later I was able to get there and within 30 minutes I had new tires and was in my way! Super friendly and very fast. This is the best tire store I have been to in years!

This is a great place! We are on vacation and had to get a tire fixed. I knew this was the right place the moment I walked in. It reminded me of my regular repair shop back home. The Friendly staff made me feel at home.

Everyone here was so helpful! I was traveling from out of town and a really bad pothole in TN cracked my wheel. I made it to Brevard on my spare, but needed a better option to travel the remaining 4 hours home. Stanley was extremely helpful! I called him back and forth several times trying to find anyone nearby who might have the right size wheel and he took every call and kept giving me phone numbers and places to try. No one nearby had the specific wheel I needed in stock and I needed to get home ASAP. Stanley did everything he could to make it work and make sure that it was done in a way that would ensure my safety during my travel. He was able to get a 15” rim instead of the 16” to match my others, but used a tire that would offset the difference. This worked great and my sister and I made it home safely and I now have a bit of a buffer while I wait for my new rim to come in. Once that comes in and is installed, I’ll essentially have a very nice full sized spare tire!

Gone down hill, have been using them for years. The other negative reviews are like my experience. My son called for an appointment and the woman that answered the phone literally screamed at him out the gate. Described my issue on the phone making the appointment and when I brought the car, and it was not communicated to the mechanic. Waited 2.5 hours, got an oil change and tune up but my shaking when braking/rotors may be warped issue was translated to the mechanic as check the brakes.
When I asked about it up front was told the brakes were fine. I said so my car didn't get fixed? And they just stared at me. Had better luck with JZM in Etowah and will go there from now on.

I was traveling with my family in our ‘15 Honda Odyssey during the 4th of July week when our alternator decided to give out on us. I called my dad who lives in Brevard and asked him what to do. He said to limp the car down to Charlie’s. Which I did. I got there at closing time on Friday night and the guy locking up the place told me where to park and what to do. Saturday morning I was there when they opened and they got my car diagnosed and fixed before 10:30am! Price was very reasonable and I was so thankful for them getting me on the way so we could get home. I wish we had a Charlie’s where I live.

This tire / car service is a joke.
When they rotate your tires they don't check to see if your air pressure is correct the right by hand on paper who the service tickets are for the customers. I will never go back and I would not recommend that you use the facility in any way shape or form. Jiffy Lube has better service than they do.

Agreed with many other reviewers that purchasing tires here is a bad idea. I got less than 10K miles on a new set of tires. Was told that road conditions and aggressive driving were the problem. Ridiculous. Go elsewhere!

Bought new tires at Charlie's and at 24,500 miles she needs new tires. Based on several tire resources the tires should have lasted for a minimum of 36,000 miles.Charlie's is claiming low tire mileage is due to the asphalt used on the roads here. This statement appears to be very inaccurate, as most of the driving is done on four lane roads, with one being newly paved. Also, around 60-65% of the total driving is done on highways like I-26 and I-85. In addition, the head maintenance engineer for the NCDOT in western NC is quoted as saying"we are not aware of any issues concerning the pavement materials causing excessive tire wear. All pavements are tested to meet or exceed NCDOT standards."
I went to another dealer and bought four new tires for $200 less that Charlie's charged 27 months ago. We also received tire rotation and tire balance for the life of the tires, which Charlie's did not offer.
I would NOT recommend buying tires at Charlie's.

WORST place to buy tires and WORST for car maintenance. WOULD NOT recommend!! NO warranty, and NO computers to show proof you are owed a (only one) tire rotation. Now, I have to replace my tires after 20k miles, which I won’t be purchasing at Charlie’s ever again. What a joke! They will sell tires BUT BEWARE, they will blame the “asphalt conditions” in Brevard for not getting more than 20k miles on a new set of tires. Extremely disappointing service, especially for a small town.

Normally try not to write reviews but this has to be said- Caught a nasty nail in my rear tire. I called the shop to let them know i’m towing the vehicle there and that what vehicle i drive. they said id be the first seen after a couple hours. Great! i called right before the truck headed there to RECONFIRM. They said great. i get there right on time and had to wait a about an hour more (no big deal it happens) but THEN they tell me they dont even have my tire..?? you dont think maybe it would be a good idea to idk CHECK before i towed this car over here??!?! either way the guys telling me and not giving me any real solutions. luckily had another ride readily available to do there job for them and go pick up a tire that fit at one of their distributors. (35 mins away) so we drive there grab it and drive back. waited about 30 mins and was good to go. i expected maybe a discount for having to drive out to get the tire at least an APOLOGY? nothing. full price (180 somthin).
would not recommend
