Friendly folks. They had what I need. It's an older Dollar General, which means narrow and tall aisles, but that's fine by me. I was able to pick up an eyeglass screwdriver, half and half, and s'mores fixings, which saved our vacation.

Typically I'm a huge Dollar General fanBut just as some of the other reviews on this platform have claimed this store has really went downhill in the last year or so especially... the shelves are bare of product for 3 weeks of 4 in a month, when they have more that 1 person in thr store they aren't up at the register management expects this entire store to run with 1 single employee doing 100% of the work when this type of store cannot thrive when its is running with 1/5th the proper amount of staff! There's not a single time that I've went into this store without having to stand and wait in a line so its not like they're dead all the time! Plz hire more ppl who actually do their job! This store needs way more than just 1 or 2 ppl to run it the entire day!

Nice neighborhood option for some basics. Went here today. Well lit and huge parking lot. Even though I did feel it was well lit, I didn't love the vibes outside. Some sketchy characters around 7 pm. The store itself it pretty organized and well stocked. The seasonal section was a bit of a jumble. Pretty sure they had everything spring related except bird feeders. Sad! They have a lot of great everyday things. It's my go to for cat food and treats. They also have a ton of seasonal candy and a decent medicine section. They only had one or two employees but they were super nice and it was not busy at all.

Went in looking for some decor items and was blown away by the selection of quality things they had this time! The cashier was incredibly friendly as well! 5 star visit!

I think this store is doing great, especially if you consider that we are in a pandemic. And unfortunately there continues to be a shortage of people seeking employment at low payment jobs. This has affected nearly every company in Swannanoa!Say thanks to the new crew at Dollar Generaland to Manager Sierra Smith!

I go there to ship fedex that I already have the label. My gosh they need a new fedex scanner. They have 2 and both of them dont work. I have to stand there waiting and wating. I have to go there this morning and I know whats is gonna happen.
