My husband and I stayed in room 201 in this really cute hotel. The location was fabulous. Walking distance to just about everything. Love the decor of the room and the space it offered compared to a typical hotel. It was cozy and had everything we needed.I do have a couple of complaints and am only stating them because as an owner, I'd want to know.We stayed for 4 nights. We came in contact with 4 different staff members. Only one was welcoming and greeted us everytime we left and came back. The other three didn't say a word to us. One of them even had to help me get into the door coming back in and he didn't say anything to me. It's almost like they didn't want to bother with us. Although they seemed bored. It's not hard to be friendly and inviting. I wouldn't like that if it were my hotel.Another issue is the pull out couch. The worst mattress and springs I've ever seen. I'd replace that ASAP.We really did overall love this place, that's why I gave it 5 stars. I truly do not want to hurt the business, but feel like these are two important concerns and can be easily fixed. Especially the customer service. Maybe a good talking to will help make someone else's visit more pleasant. Thanks

This is a beautiful hotel, in a great location, with huge rooms like apartments. We loved our stay this summer. The staff was so nice and helpful. The location is so convenient to downtown; we loved the free parking. Highly recommend!!

There is just no better place to stay, this is truly the best hotel in Asheville if u want to be in the downtown walking area where all the action is at! Each window has double paned glass windows makes each room very very quiet! Stayed here twice. Our stay this past weekend was more than FABULOUS~~ we simply will NOT stay any place else. Staff is exceptional!!Rooms: HUGE w/ full kitchenetteNearby activities: all the cool bars and restaurants all within walking distance! Low noise in the room for being located on a busy city street.Safety: very well lit area and crowded area so I felt very very safe at all times. Hotel has a security code to enter the lobby area 24/7!!Walkability: walkable to everyyyy fun spot and shops

Absolutely loved my stay! I celebrated my birthday and treated myself to this lovely hotel. I enjoyed the ambience of home away from home. My space was beautiful. I appreciated the amenities, as well as the bottle of wine gifted to me by the staff. It was a pleasant surprise. Liam, Melina, and Ryan were very welcoming, helpful, and hospitable. They had a lot of style--James Brown and Wayne Shorter playing in the reception area. And the neighborhood was lively! Art galleries, shopping, chocolate shops, coffeehouses, comedy club, live entertainment, and restaurants made Downtown pop! I look forward to returning! Thank you so much:)

My friend and I stayed in this hotel for a gals trip to Asheville. It is conveniently located within walking distance of almost everything we wanted to do in town, and very easy to get to hiking and kayaking activities nearby. The parking situation was easy-peasy. The hotel itself was lovely - very nice and thoughtful details in the rooms, such as macaroons, coffee, and lovely bath products. The staff was courteous and very helpful upon check-in and check-out. Would definitely stay again.Rooms: Beautifully designed, comfortable, and luxuriousNearby activities: Very easy to get to kayak outfitters, hiking, and other activities. Pinball Museum, Moogseum, and others are close by.Walkability: Pretty much everything we wanted to do was within a mile of the hotel.Food & drinks: Lots of great restaurants and bars right in walking distance!

We only stayed one night in Asheville to start our anniversary celebration. We got married 28 years ago at Grove Park, so Asheville held a special place for us to visit... We decided to try Windsor before continuing to a mountain cabin of the rest of the week ... We absolutely loved it. My husband is ready to come back. The place is just beautiful. Our room wash clean and decorated lovely. All the comforts of home. The staff was super attentive (Elijah made sure we were taken care of..Thanks!). We received a bottle of wine for our anniversary. Can't say enough about the place. TRULY ENJOYED OUR STAY!Rooms: Beautifully decorated rooms with full kitchenNearby activities: Lots to do and everything nearby. Extremely walkable.

downtown Ashville location was a plus but it was the suite with kitchen and washer and dryer that made it special. came to town to experience The Biltmore. discovered Ashville has much more going on. The Windsor was our entree to the "more" of Ashville.

What a wonderful treasure! I don't know who designed these rooms, but they are so gorgeous. You have a complete kitchen. The staff is very friendly & there is a lot of complimentary sodas, waters in the downstairs refrigerator. The only thing is if you are driving, you need to park a block away. The good thing is, is there is a loading area right in front of the hotel.I will definitely return & recommend this wonderful hotel.

This hotel is in a class of its' own. Only 14 suites, but each one unique! It's in an older building, with lovely high ceilings and rooms full of character. The front desk is staffed with friendly and helpful folks, who have recommendations on where to eat, and what to do. The lobby is stocked with sodas, water and snacks for guests to help themselves. The only down side was that parking was located about a half-block away, and unloading can be tricky, since there is only 1 space in which to stop your vehicle to accomplish this. All in all, highly recommend the Windsor Boutique Hotel.

Fantastic experience! The staff were all very helpful and genuinely kind. Our room was very nice and clean; the hotel has a boutique, sort of vintage vibe but with nice modern touches. We were a tad worried that being in the heart of downtown would be loud but we found the room to be peacefully calm and quiet! Bed was super comfy too. We also really appreciated the full kitchen with a full-sized coffee maker despite being in a queen bed suite. This stay was well worth the value! 10/10 would stay again!

5 stars all the way. Loved the hotel and the crew is very professional and spot on. Drop off can be tricky at check in but just call them first. Parking is a short distance away and free. Th location is the best ever. The C&Company spa is attached and easily accessed from the room. Loved room 201. Sorry for the messy pictures.

The Windsor Boutique Hotel is beyond fabulous!! The one downside is the parking. They definitely go out of their way to contact you and explain the drop-off process as well as give you directions to their complimentary parking area a block away. Pay attention and drive slowly, or you will miss it. I noticed several reviews giving a poor rating based on parking alone. Do not let this deter you from booking! It's a quick walk, and once you check in to your gorgeous suite, you won't be thinking of it at all! The Windsor Hotel only has a limited amount of suites, so we felt fortunate to have been able to book one at the last minute right before New Years. The total bill came close to six hundred for one night, but it was worth it! We stayed in a king bed suite fully equipped with a separate kitchen and laundry. A complimentary bottle of wine was waiting for us in the room. Complimentary water and soda drinks were also available in the lobby, which were greatly appreciated! They give you personal key code access to the outside door to enter after hours. This hotel is centrally located in downtown Asheville, North Carolina, with everything you need within walking distance. Restaurants, shopping, entertainment, it's all only minutes away. Very safe and incredibly clean! I felt like we were staying in a hip modern art gallery. Excellent service. They were even able to accommodate our late checkout request at noon. When we return to Asheville, this will be the only place we will stay!Rooms: Rooms are very spacious and clean.Nearby activities: Shopping, entertainment, and restaurants all within minutes.Safety: Very safe and secure area.Walkability: You really don't need a car if you stay here and plan on only visiting the downtown area. Everything you need is within walking distance.

Wow. Took my parents here on a road trip down south. Stayed one night. Absolutely perfect in every way. Super helpful friendly staff making sure that cars and unloaded and parked and so forth. Kept the billing on the hush hush as I requested.Rooms are absolutely sick. Picked this place because of their washing machines lol - it was our first stay after three nights in the backcountry in the smokies. Got a whooooollllleeee lot more than washing machines. Awesome apartments, tall ceilings, clean, very stylish and spot on. Everyone was impressed and happy. Great showers, linens, etc. Enormous suites.Central location. Short walk to dinner. Could hear live music getting ready for dinner in the hotel room.Stayed at the Sanctuary at Kiawah later in the week - they need to take lessons from Windsor in Asheville.Perfect pairing with the smokies. Thank you very much for such a memorable one night stay to wash clothes.
