Friendly staff & owner, always helpful & educational. They have a great selection of wines that you can't find at the typical venues. Pop in for a glass of wine & leave with some bottles.

I would leave zero stars if I could. Went in with a friend to try and grab a quick glass of wine and sat at the bar for 10 minutes while we watched the person who worked there talk with a couple and never even acknowledge we were sitting there, or tell us he would be with us. after finally 10 minutes of waiting, we just got up and left and he just watched us go without acknowledging us or apologizing for anything. Will not go back.

Small but well selected assortment of wines and cigars. Randomly picked out several bottles of wine ($15-20 range) and cigars ($8-10 range) for new years and pretty happy with everything I bought there. Try doing that at Ingles, would have found maybe one good bottle, if I were lucky! Cigars were good too (if a tad bit pricy), but only place I know of that carries premium hand rolled in south Asheville.

My husband and I were surprised that every time we went to the ABC store we had not noticed this wonderful establishment and today we came in! Holly was extremely professional and very attentive and even provided us with a few samples of wine to taste. We will be back :)
