I had an appointment for a tour of the Lifetime Fitness in Apex. I came with a friend. Our guide was Cameron. He was so friendly and so helpful in showing us everything that this gym offers. He showed us all the classrooms. He explained how all the exercise equipment was set up. We were eligible for the Silver sneakers. He gave us a brochure on all the classes. He helped with getting everything set up on my phone…which was a HUGE HELP. Another employer named Nick presented us with out t shirts and water bottle. I’m so excited about getting this membership and starting my classes! Thanks so much Cameron and Nick!

Over crowded, handles not clean properly, rude members. Not worth it look elsewhere. In saying this coming from ny….. and gyms there are….”you get what you pay for”.This gym is pay, and still be treated like garbage besides the 100$ + a month fee.Needs better management

Good gym with a kids club. Lot of cardio machines, huge space for weights. Personal training and group training offered. I like the group classes like yoga and Zumba. Sauna is open too. Nice and friendly staff.

Kiddos for Cassie, she is a good ambassador for Life Time Fitness. She was working hard, I saw her busy and I mentioned that she needed help, her answer was very positive and she couldn’t speak higher of her workplace. She definitely loves working at Life Time. I’m a member here and I’m pleased to meet people like her. Always smiling and happy to help.

I am not a gym person. I started personal training with Stephanie and her positive and body affirming attitude is so nice. I actually want to go to the gym. I am not feeling bad about what I cannot do and she is a huge part of it and I have made strong strides. I am thankful I found her and the gym is clean and well equipped. Check it out even if you are on the fence.

I love Lifetime and this smaller scale gym in Apex is perfect for classes, relaxation and a lower-key atmosphere. Nick was very helpful with our family membership and is always accessible if help with your membership is needed. This gym offers the LT group fitness classes ranging from spinning to Zumba to to their weight training classes that compare to Les Mills’ Bodypump. These are called Barbell Strength and I like the ones taught by Robin and Kristin. The yoga studio is especially relaxing and welcoming and the soothing voice and classes offered by Naomi will put you in a tranquil meditative state. They offer spinning classes in a small studio and you ride to the beat of the music or the instructors’ tabata format. Tameka P., Mariangel and others are high-energy Zumba dancers and make the classes so much fun. Charlton is one of my favorites and I did the personalized small group classes called GTX where you lift weights and do high -intensity intervals on the treadmill. There are plenty of weight machines and cardio equipment on the floor and you don’t have to wait to work out. For classes, you reserve your classes in the lifetime app and this guarantees your spot or bike or whatever you reserve. The changing rooms offer plenty of lockers and there is a mini sauna. The facility is always clean and well-maintained. If you want the pool or larger gym experience, you can go to Cary or North Raleigh. This gym also has a fundraiser event for Duke Childrens every November and raise money and awareness for cancer. The events are always fun, the instructors are dynamic and I love coming here to workout. Thank you, LT Apex!

Great gym! Its very clean with resort style amenities with friendly and helpful staff in a welcoming safe environment for all. This Gym offers several classes but the Zumba sessions are my favorite, I almost feel like I can dance now. I Would have given 4 stars because this gym doesn't have a steam room, but the ZIN instructors, Certified Personal Trainers and other Classes make up the difference. Thanks Lifetime

I love this gym. It's always being cleaned and the machines are all in good working order. The staff (Cameron, Mike, etc) is very polite and there's just a good energy vibe about the place. I've worked out at other LifeTime locations and this is the best one by far.

The Apex location doesn’t have as nice facilities as the Raleigh or Cary ones but the membership is about $30 cheaper per month. There aren’t amenities like a spa, cafe, salon or pickle ball court like the other Lifetime fitness locations have. It still has a cycling room, yoga studio, weight training machines and treadmills. Group classes and personal training are included in the monthly membership fee, but doesn’t offer more specialized classes like Pilates that the other Lifetimes in the area have.

Lowering my rating from before. Forewarning to others: shoes are apparently optional here. Overall the gym is pretty good if you don't mind people in socks with their dirty feet all over equipment without wiping down.
