It took many calls to this guy to get my carbs back. He kept telling me they were shipped but they weren't. When I finally did get them back they were missing parts. I called him and he said he would send them to me but he never did. I called many times and he would not call me back. I had to buy some new parts for my otherwise original 67 corvette tri power carbs. The carbs did look nice and worked good but I would never trust this guy again. Poor business man

I hope any potential CUSTOMERS read this beforehand so they don't become potential VICTIMS !! (12-1-2023) If I could give a negative review I would give a negative 3 . This guy is an absolute liar and thief. If I would've read his reviews beforehand I would have never wasted my time and money with him. It took him over six months to return my carb, and that was only because I had to repeatedly and repeatedly , and repeatedly call him til he answered . And it was just excuse after excuse . He setups payment thru PayPal "friends and family" so the customer can not dispute it. When I finally got my carb back , which still in itself took way too long after payment was made , it leaked worse than ever before . Come to find out it has multiple cracks he should have caught upon disassembly , or on his so called flow bench when he supposedly flow tests his products before being sent out . So I am out of product and funds. Beware, his other social media sites look awesome, but he is a phony all the way. WILLIAM BALDWIN is a disgrace to the automotive and performance industry . Like I said , I hope people read this before they decide to do business with him.

I purchased a carburetor from baldwin performance may 5 2022 ,was told I would have the carburetor in a few weeks he ignores emails and text if I would of read all the negative reviews On the different platforms I would've never Spent a dime With him. There's one star because you have to give one star we are at a year and I still have no carburetor or no money back and I have requested both numerous times

I would give zero if possible. William Baldwin is a thief and a liar. I sent him my wife's 1969 Camaro carb in 2017. In early 2018 he took my money via PayPal (friends and family) because it conveniently wouldn't work any other way. Said it was done and shipping....never to respond to me again. He is an absolute piece of S#!T.

Approximately 2 and 1/2 years ago, I contacted Mr Baldwin to build me a set of carbs for a 427 Fe engine. Had talked to him a couple of occasions and seemed very knowledgeable and experienced to do this kind of work not including a bunch of good reviews. I laid a deposit down and patiently waited. Now come on who is patient about Parts when they order them. I kept in contact with him approximately every 2 to 3 months to check on availability, a lot of back ordered parts ,a lot of short , staff illness in the family. Carburetors were finally finished and shipped to me and were recently installed on a 427 Fe by the engine builder and dynoed. He stated that this was the smoothest engine he had ever , dynoed with this carb set-up combination and great horsepower and torque were seen. Thanks Wayne Ferguson

I paid for a carburetor over 3 months ago going on 4 months ,I have talked to William multiple times ,and keeps. This may have to go to the law coming up with an excuses

Bad customer service did a 1050 alky carb never got out the garage sent back and he said he going to put it on someone car .took a week for him to call back in around way he said I do not know what I am doing. he sent back now I .have to fix it . By the way been racing for 40 years KNOW A LITTLE BIT so much for 1,700.00

I am restoring a 1953 Allard K3, and the 2x4 Rochester carb setup that came with the car was in as bad/rusty shape as the rest of the car. Wanting to keep as much originality as possible, instead of just buying new carbs, I took my dual Rochester 4GCs to Baldwin for complete restoration. The results are astounding. As with anything, quality work takes time and money, but you get what you pay for. I am very pleased with the results, and William has already volunteered to help get the carbs dialed in once they are on the car and the car is running. Looking forward to that day! I switched to Baldwin carburetors about three years back on my dirt car. The smoothness and throttle response of his carburetors are much better than others I have use such as willys or quick fuel. There really is no comparison. I recently got a classic car which the first thing I did was take my cab and distributor and send it down to Baldwin. These guys sometimes take a little while but they are a small shop and wait times can be expected. Let me tell you the wait is worth it you’ll be very happy. Not to mention if there is anything to adjust William does an awesome job of telling you what to do. Anybody in Racing or ClassicCars or anything that needs a carburetor should be running a Baldwin.

We’ve used Baldwin Carb for years. They’re always underwater and the lead times are almost always longer than quoted, but they’re good people who genuinely care about their workmanship, and we’ve NEVER had a quality issue. If you’re in a hurry, they’re not your guys. If you want skill and quality and give them their time, they’re the best.Service: Carburetor cleaning

I've known the guys at Baldwin for over 20 years. Their workmanship and quality is spot on. I have read some of the negative reviews and know that most all of them are from negative people that think the world owes them something. I have recommended Baldwin to many of my Drag Racing friends and they have all been very pleased with the product and performance. Best Carb guy on the East coast, possibly west also just can't speak for it. It is nearly impossible to find guys as knowledge and helpful as William. I have a 1966 Ford Mustang with a 351W in it and was looking to increase performance along with ignition system reliability. William helped me make the best decision for parts and went above and beyond with installation. I would trust him with anything from a $100,000 concours build to a 1000HP drag car. Ordered and received custom carb for drag car. Was much better product than the off-the-shelf Holley's, Demon, and Quick-fuel that I had previously tried. Could tell definite improvement. Will be ordering another when next project comes around.

Baldwin built a matching set of Carter Carbs for me for a Mopar STR-15 Edelbrock Crossram Intake. Built them, then helped with the installation, set the linkage and the tuning after engine was built. Runs like a champ with none of the problems normally associated with running this type set up on the street! Very pleased with the work and follow through on any questions I've had since!
