My Grandson and I love Mike's art 1st off. Every Christmas his Grateful Dead Calendar is among the faves at opening presents. My daughter, however, gets Her Yankees Calendar. As I am into The Grateful Dead, she bleeds Her Yankees blue. I have purchased a number of his works through his HappyLife prod., as did my 13 year old Grandson. We had the distinguished honor to have met Mike at the 1st. Woodstock Rock Poster Art Show that he and others brought together a cadre of very talented , and very well known Artist. Many of those folks, i alao have in my collection. I have a great deal of respect and admiration for his talent and visionary products.
Getting back to the shop. I have attempted to get to the store right there on Tinker St, few times. However my continued tardiness is 99% of everything I do. That means I get there after closing which Is at 6pm. But as I was going to a local show in town, I had finally arrived on time. But it was already 6 ish. I spoke with the employee working as I scanned the art beautiflly displayed on walls and the many different types of products. From Tie Die T'shirts, with Mike Dubois art and a myriad of interesting visuals. Now I mentioned it was closing time and a very nice Woman, who I suspected was Mrs Dubois and that assumption was correct.
And she politely as could be nudged me toward the door. So b thing to the effect of when You come back to visit you'll have to set alarm so you can get here earlier. And of course completely understand this as a forner Manager of retail record stores. Lots to do when store closes. We said are goodbyes and my promise to come much earlier. Very Nice people. Here's the end. I attended the show in town and when 2nd set was going , I ran into Mike Dubois. We said hello and his friend as well. I said Mike I was at Your shop earlier and Your wife in the most subtle friendly way kicked me out at close.. we all had a laugh. In closing His art speaks for itself, a wonderful wife and family. And yes I will go earlier for sure next ride to Woodstock NY I love it there. And Mike with His wife and Family are part of the Fabric along with many artist that I suspect was part of the art I saw on the walls. Now you can take a trip to Woodstock park and walk tinker st with all the shops, just make sure to get to Happylife Productions , so you have time to browse the great store, I know I will.

Start with Holly, who we met when coming in. It was a warm winter's day but she warmed it up even more with a lot of musical history and knowledge of the area. I feel as though in less than hour, I made a new friend. The shop itself has an amazing array of photographs, posters and memorabilia and other cool stuff besides. Definitely a place to stop while walkign the streets of Woodstock

Goldmine. With items ranging from Nag Champa to candles to framed photos of 60s iconic Woodstock performance artists to the most dainty jewelry to even hippie, tie-dye t-shirts, there's really something for everyone here at Happy Life P. on Tinker St in Woodstock, NY. Since my daughter is staying with us during my holiday break, we stopped in on a Thursday afternoon and one of the things she noticed was a yellow baseball cap with a red heart on it among other things she bought herself and for me at very nice prices. Every corner in this shop is filled with pops of color everywhere you look and, as a bonus, there's a small (very small) section of children and baby hippie clothing. The vibe is relaxed and you're not pressured into buying anything- because in true Woodstock fashion, Holly (owner?) spreads peace, love and kindness in a positive way to her customers.

A Happy Life is a good thing! My wife & I are window shopping and came across Happy Life Productions. Walking inside is lots of peaceful eye candy. There's a lot of framed photos and posters, to the right are some funky tees. I'm looking for that perfect Tied Dyed Woodstock shirt. My wife pulls out the perfect blue Woodstock shirt. Daddy is a happy pappy! The tee shirt was a little pricey but it feels like a quality product. Can you put a price on peace and my happiness? Nice store for all peaceful products.
