Absolutely beautiful selection of rugs. You can sense the good quality the minute you enter the shop. The owner is kind enough to let you take any rugs home to try it out. Definitely coming back !

I just bought a gorgeous rug from here. There was a huge, beautiful vintage assortment in excellent condition. The gentleman was an absolute pleasure, eager to help and not the least bit pushy...I’ll definitely be back!

We own a few large Persian-style rugs and runners from Bed Bath & Beyond- and were in the market for jazzing up a small area in our house with a genuine Persian rug- this time. I can't believe I've walked by this shop a million times without going in. Chatted with the store owner who filled us in his travels to Turkey to bring the most interesting Tribal Rugs to the heart of Woodstock. He even went into detail about the weave and the type wool it takes to create a tasteful rug. Ok...Good information. You'll notice Anatolia by all the decorative pillows and small area rugs outside his shop. Inside is small, but loaded- he's been in business for a long time, so we didn't second-guess his expertise. We were also looking for a non-slip pad to go with our rug to place it underneath- but was out of those. He was kind enough to provide us with a binder full of non-slip samples to choose from and if we liked, we can jot down the (800) number to order ourselves. My small Persian rug and the decorative pillow we purchased, are excellent quality and didn't hurt our pockets. I wanted to shop til I dropped and replace some of our imitation Persian rugs with the real deal- but that's not gonna happen just yet.

My husband and I stopped in here while wandering through Woodstock recently. We ended up having a lovely time looking at, discussing, and eventually buying a beautiful rug with Scott's attentive (but never overbearing) assistance. He was also so nice to give us a complimentary pillow when he found out we were recently married! It's been a couple weeks now and we love our rug. It's the perfect size for our city apartment, is very unique and brightens up our space. I highly recommend Anatolia to anyone in or near the area in the market for a rug.

After reading all the five-star reviews on Yelp, I was somewhat skeptical, thinking that the experience could not possibly live up to the high reputation. I was wrong. Scott is a lovely individual, and the environment is warm and welcoming, with absolutely no pressure whatsoever. He was available to answer questions and help guide our decision-making but also gave us time to examine the rugs on our own. The rugs themselves are beautiful, and very reasonably priced for the quality. What a lovely experience! Highly recommend if you're looking for a quality Persian or Moroccan rug.

Amazing tugs at this family business that's been around for years. Incredible knowledge of rugs and huge selection. The patient store owner helped us look through dozens and dozens since we were overwhelmed and had trouble choosing. He worked with us to find one we loved that fit our particular size needs. Then he let us take it home for a few weeks to try before we bought. Great personal service.

Totally unexpected, exceptionally pleasant experience! We just wandered in, not really with any intention to buy a rug, and left with two! Scott's knowledge and passion is both captivating and inspiring. We are now really into learning more about rugs from the different regions, old and new. What made my experience the most enjoyable is that Scott is just as happy to chat and share his knowledge as he is to just let you browse and leave you alone. There was NEVER any pressure, overt or subtle, to make a purchase. I appreciated that so much. When we have more room for a larger rug, I'm quite certain we'll be back.

We stopped by to admire their rugs during a week in Woodstock and walked out with a beautiful new rug. Scott took a long time to explain carpet-making and patiently answered all of our questions, and even let us bring the rug home to make sure it looked good in the space before paying for it. Fantastic experience.

Just a plain terrific place for carpets. What a pleasant surprise. We walked in randomly having ended up with an extra hour in Woodstock and walked out with a beautiful 6x9. As others have said, Scott is amazing. Very helpful, knowledgeable, relaxed, patient, and has been amazingly easy to deal with pre and post-sale. We aren't carpet specialists by any means but, being a bit OCD, needing a carpet and living a couple blocks from ABC, have done a decent amount of research online and on each floor of ABC to understand how rugs are made, what goes into the cost, and what was important to us. Ultimately ABC was just too expensive. At Anatolia, we were surprised to spot a rug that was beautiful, hand-knotted, and had the little details (subtle color variations from vegetable dyes made in small batches) that we loved at a much much more affordable price. Scott even made it easy to try it at home to make sure it worked for us. They also had some great antique rugs, but we had already decided that a new one was a better fit for our situation. Overall, a really a surprising and terrific experience. We'll certainly be back and will be recommending them to everyone.

Second time we visit Woodstock, second time we buy here, second time we can't stop talking about how fantastic their collection is, and how wonderfully sweet is Scott Morgan. Every time a friend says he/she wants to buy a rug, a carpet, a kilim, we talk them into visiting this store. You can tell their prices are honest when you see similar pieces in a worse condition, at a different store, at a much higher price. My wife and I can't buy rugs anywhere else -- why would we, and we can't leave Woodstock without stopping here. This last time we brought home four pillows, basically half the pillows he had on display. Go there, talk to him, ask him where things come from, every carpet has a story, every story is delightful.
