I just picked up my truck that broke down my way to work this am and they towed it a mile and charged me 220. And removed my plates who runs a business like thatAlso went through my stuff in glove compartment do not recommend

Service is always pleasant and fast. I've never had any issues with my car being fixed except for a current issue that can't be diagnosed, but the manufacturer couldn't diagnose it either. Prices are also much better than any other shop in the area I've been to, and Van Allen doesn't try to upsell you on things you don't need.

They complained about the 20-25 minutes it would take to get to where I was broken down to tow me when the tire came off my truck. Said it was a long ways from Valatie to 787 in Albany. Waited an hour to find that out. Not helpful at all. Told us to have the person who put the tire on to come and help. Stated it would be 200.00 to do the tow like that would of been a problem for us. Terrible customer service.

So far so good. Had a few community members recommend this place to my family. They’re servicing an Impala’s Stabilitrak and an F-150 with starter and engine issues. Very nice folks in the office. They seem to go out of their way to help. If you need a tow in the Valatie area they’re a good option. Note that it took me a few phone calls before the line connected and started ringing (no busy signal), but that’s not their fault.

I found out they don't work on foreign cars. So if you have a Volvo.. don't bother.. I really don't know how good they are.. my rating is based on my experience.. nice staff..got an appointment quickly.. but no one could help me..
