Liberty Tax in Uniondale stole my refund and will not refund me my money. I even tried to work it out with the owner, Michael and he chose not to help me. My family and I obviously will not be returning there.

I brought my mother to do her taxes here and I will say that they took a huge weight off of our shoulders as my mother had not filed in years and had lost all her documents but kept receiving letters from the IRS we finally decided to come in and Elsa spent hours calling the IRS and the State and was able to obtain her records to be able to file years worth of taxes. I thank her for being patient and sweet to My mother who is older and was overwhelmed with the whole process. We had been worried sick for so long and no one had been able to help us before but we finally found this office and can now say that we will be back and 100% recommend it.

My family and I have been coming to Uniondale for the Past 3 years and have nothing but great things to say about this place. They help us with everything we need throughout the year and Elsa the manager goes above and beyond to help us. Thanks to her letting us know about a program we were able to obtain our home and are forever grateful. We will be back and will be referring everyone to this office

I called for help with my tax return via phone to see if I can come in. The staff at this location is rude and not helpful. I have been helped before by other locations. Elsa stated that she can NOT help me because another location did my taxes. Which is not true. She was rude and argumentative. Did not even offer to help me or try to.

Representative Tonia williams gave quick precise and professional help with my taxes along with excellent advice ..i will return to liberty next year to do my taxes.

My father referred me to this office because I had not been able to recover my refunds for a few years, I thought I had lost all that money but Elsa was able to obtain the information the IRS and the state were requesting and helped me send all the paperwork necessary I’ve recovered my refund for all three years. So I’m very grateful for all her hard work. This is my new Tax office and will be telling everyone about it.

My husband and I have been filing our taxes with Elsa for years now and have no complaints it’s always been a smooth process. I have referred many people to her and have always received positive feedback from them. I definitely will continue working with her and will continue referring anyone who needs to file their taxes. I have been going to this office for 6 years and I am very happy, I have also invited people from my work and church and we have all had a very satisfactory experience with them. It makes me sad that many people take their time trying to damage the image of a person and a business that helps the community so much. Elsa is a very correct and very professional girl and I wish that God bless her and this office. I am very happy with their service and I invite everyone to visit them since they are people who are very hard-working and professional. Thank you!

A different tax office had filed my taxes with fraudulent information and my Friend Theresa Garcia referred me to this office because she had gone through the same situation. Elsa was able to fix the return that was originally filed by Medrano’s Tax office in Hempstead and helped me avoid a $5k fine from the IRS. I will be coming back next year and will tell my family and friends about it. Ask for Elsa. Thank you Liberty Tax!

Most unprofessional people I have ever encountered in my entire life ! If you’re a new client don’t go here they messed up my taxes ?… cannot trust people who look ragged in a supposedly professional setting, not worth it. Elsa, was EXTREMELY RUDE to me when I questioned their policy. I asked her why didn’t I get my original papers back as I always do. She became combative …. very unprofessional as I wanted to understand the procedures because I’ve never had this problem with this location. She immediately became hostile and used my assertion as hostility. Needless to say this location is not ideal. They don’t know what they’re doing …. Seriously.
