I have always had a positive experience with the folks at 5 Star.
I deal mostly with Kara, in parts, she is a standout and has an exceptional understanding of customer service. She always has the right answer or will find the answer and call back. She also knows when to suggest additional parts to go along with what I'm buying to eliminate the need for return trips to the store.

Be VERY careful when having parts associate Phil get anything for you. I was in a while back and had nothing but problems! He even made me look up my own parts on diagrams because he clearly doesn't know parts. After spending 25 minutes looking for the part I needed by myself, on their system I ended up leaving to come back another day. I ended up calling this time instead of coming back into the store. I spoke with Cara who told me to give her a second to look into it and she came back from a hold about 3 minutes later with a part and price for me. Amazing service and professionalism from Cara!

Dropped off my chipper off due to it not starting. They did timing, new ecu, new wiring harness, and a bunch of other parts. Called me said we can't figure it out, come pick up your machine. A few days later I found out they charged my credit card $4,938 dollars WITHOUT MY PERMISSION and my chipper still doesn't run or has even started up once. I recommend no one gives this company a credit card to hold on file. They have horrible service and do horrible work. They can't fix anything correctly.

Been using this shop since 2022. I've traveled all over the nation for work and this is one of the best Deere dealers. Kara at the parts counter always goes above and beyond. She has gotten me out of a jam on multiple occasions.

I’m sharing a review my Cousin shared on Facebook.“So had an incident last week, kids shot out my windows with rocks in Syracuse, and screwed control panel up on my new mini Ex I got last fall. Fast forward..., a HUGE shout out to 5 star Equipment and Sales of Syracuse where I bought it. , any time I've had an issue with my equipment over the years from backhoes, to skid steers, to this, your service team there stands 2nd to none! John Deere equipment might cost a little more, but the service has ALWAYS been spot on. Not only were parts ordered the moment I call them, but parts were there in 1 day, and fixed the next. Not only was it fixed, but I opened my machine today, and it was completely detailed in and out...., I just want to take a moment and Thank each and every one of your service team for the fastest service I have ever known. Even last fall I had a little issue, you guys were on sight within an hour correcting it. Pics are what I walked into last week, and last 3 pics is what I seen this morning. Thank you for turning a bad experience into something posative!”
