Incredibly kind staff and smooth check in! Great small rental car stop directly next to the train station. We easily traveled up from NYC via LIRR and rented a car for our short vacation- quick and easy! The lovely staff member gave us a little car upgrade since there was availability- Thank you!

Very unprofessional and rude, even thought they've sent two confirmations earlier in the day at the time of pick up they didn't have a vehicle available, the dispatcher doesn't even know what she's doing and show not effort to help or to offer other options to get a rental The worse rental service ever!

I had the absolute worst customer service experience of my life at this location. On the day of my scheduled pick up I was informed the location was closing two hours early and I would have to change my pickup time. This was not possible as my train arrived 45 mins after the location closed. The staff was unwilling to make any accommodation aside from suggesting "I ask a friend to go get the car early for me". After expressing my disappointment and asking to speak to a manager the employee at the desk hung up on me. Luckily I went around the corner and rented from Enterprise who were much more helpful (and less expensive!)

This is a very disorganized location with a staff that is just checking the box and can't make anything right, when the screw up so buckle your seatbelt and prepare for turbulence because it's SURE to happen .

To be avoided urgentlyI booked a rental car on the internet, and when I arrived in front of the store: nobody, it was closed! of course I went there during the opening hours. The competing company "entreprise rental car" is more professional

Best rental company with the most helpful and pleasant staff. Dealt with multiple Hertz locations and everyone was delightful. Have tried other rental companies and would only rent from Hertz.
