I had these guys install a sliding glass door in my shower. No issues with functionality or pricing but terrible customer service regarding a concern I had on the appearance. The sliding feature of the door essentially looked like it was installed backwards with the unfinished screws facing the bathroom and the finished side inside the shower. Their response was essentially "tough luck." Will not be using them again.

We were under the impression we had ordered a frameless shower door..after we were notified it was ready to be installed we happened to go to the show room.while there we saw a shower door with a heavy thick frame which the person at the desk said was the model we ordered. That was not a frameless door .we were misinformed by the salesman who did text a picture of a door which appeared to have a thin frame .now apparently we are stuck.we man in the office said the salesman would call us but would not give us his number. He also said one owner was out of town and the other was difficult to reach . The shower door we ordered looks like the old one we threw out . It is my feeing that this business is not reliable

We thought we were ordering a frameless glass shower dooor. What we ordered fromA picture which seemed to have a narrow thin frame turned out to be a thick ugly frame . The picture we signed off on did not give the frame details . Now they say we are stuck with it .saw the same thing at Home Depot for far less money .they are nice until there is a problemBuyer beware

I have an antique lucite table base (one of the first ever made!) whose glass top broke during a move. I brought the very carefully wrapped (broken in two clean pieces) top to Hampton Glass and Mirror and told them I was interested in having it replaced—and that for years I’d consianging the top to lucite for safety (because I have little kids.) They discouraged me, saying that would be expensive and that their lucite was too weak to support even a lamp. My home is filled with thick, strong acrylic/Lucite furniture (desks, coffee table, tables!) so I was disappointed but decided they must know what they’re doing… I was convinced instead to order a tempered glass top. I was asked if I wanted the edge “polished” and I asked what that meant and they said a smooth side, versus just cut glass… ok. So WEEKS and $300 later, after I had to call them and ask if it was ready, my husband picked the top up and… it’s green. Literally. Whole glass has a green tint and the polished side is just solid green!! And the hole they drilled in the center for the screw that secures the top to the base? They got the size right but it was all chipped. I called up and very, very politely asked about the color, assuming (frankly!) they’d say GREEN?! WHAT?! …and beg me to go out of my way to bring it back—or offer to pick it up—and correct their mistake. Instead, they told me I’d gotten what I’d ordered. I very, very nicely probed again, and the response got more defensive, dismissive and disrespectful. This is an art piece! Lucite base and top were designed to flow as one—CLEAR table. The historic and monetary value if the piece died when the original top broke…but I was hoping to at least restore the artistic integrity of the piece!! Now it’s just a lucite bottom with a wonky green glass top screwed to it. Very disappointed in this local business for doing bad work, neglecting to advise a new customer fully about the color of their glass, and then showing no compassion even—let alone rectifying the situation—when I’d already paid nearly $300!!! SHAME!

Engaged to replace a failed double-paned window. The plastic piece that holds the glass in place cracked when it was removed. Rather than trying to replace that piece, the technician pieced it together and used putty to cover up the spaces between the broken pieces. The job was done poorly and looked very unprofessional. The sales person returned to the house in an attempt to find out what part he needed to replace the broken piece. When he came, he did not want to remove the piece to find out what was needed and simply trimmed the putty. It looked better but not good and he agreed that it did not look good. He indicated that he would do something to try to make it right, e.g., discount the work or provide a credit. When he spoke to the owner, he was unwilling to do anything. The sales person said he would speak to the owner again to see what he could do and get back to me. I never heard from him again. Bottom line, the window was repaired but it looks very unprofessional. I would not use this company again.

I've never really written a review but I want everyone to be aware of their shady business practice so I felt I needed to warn others. I ordered two pieces of glass for a total of $700. The smaller piece, which was a square was $95 and the larger piece made up the rest of the invoice. Upon delivery of the items, I realize that the square piece was slightly larger than what I needed and I asked the delivery person if they could take it back and slightly shave it down. I called the front office and spoke to Jodi. She told me the cost would be $135, and I had assumed that was because the glass pieces combined were so expensive. However, upon looking at the invoice, I realized that they charged me MORE to shave down the small piece of glass than what the glass actually cost in the first place. I literally could have purchased a new piece of glass for less than what they charged me to slightly modify the existing piece. I called the company, assuming it was an error and Jodi was so dismissive and exceptionally rude. She claimed the up charge was because of delivery but the delivery guy didn't make a special trip to my home to pick up the glass - he literally took it with him on his way out the door since I realize instantly it was too big. Beware of these types of business practices and stay away! Super shady where they charge you more to make a slight change than what the piece originally cost!!

A great place to do business with. Service was fast and reliable. All appointment times were kept. Service tech was friendly and polite and he did a great job. Cleanup was great and workmanship was top notch. I will definitely use this company again.

While I had a couple issues with Hampton Glass at first, the owners made sure to resolve my issues and keep the client happy. In the end, they were able to sustain a nice relationship with me and leave the door open for lots of future work. I will continue using them for all my glass and mirror projects, and would certainly feel comfortable referring friends to their company.
