I almost didn't book an appointment here because of the reviews, I changed my mind after speaking with one of Dr. Kugler previous patients. The office staff was welcoming and kind, I did not feel rushed after the doctor came in to see me. He was personable and informative. I had to have bloodwork done which was so convenient that they do it right in the office. I have terrible veins and she got it on the first try! All in all I don't see why there are negative reviews at all for this practice, they were wonderful.

I was a patient for many years when I called to make a appointment I was told I have to wait 3 months before I can be seen. this office is too busy for me I can't trust my health with an office like this. It's not fair to your established patients. now I have to start all over with a new doctor.

Was trying to schedule an appointment for a patient. Reception answered and hung up, then kept sending me to voicemail. Very unprofessional.

I have hypothyroidism and I also am trying to recover from anorexia, which my doctor knew about, and yet on my second visit she lectured me and then tried to make me take a prescription weight loss pill to me all because I gained TWO pounds, rather than letting me go up a dose in my medication for my still underactive thyroid. I haven’t been there since that visit in feb. 2020 and got my last bill in may or June which I payed within a month, and now in Nov. 2020 I got the same bill and it says it’s “seriously past due.”

Dr. Shanik was wonderful. Its ashame that there is a very nasty receptionist there.

Horrible experiences. Prior to my first visit, I had medical report sent over. The office confirmed they received them but when I arrived for my appointment they couldn't find them. Was advised to return to have blood testing done at lunchtime. Waited an hour and was told my blood could not be drawn because they needed a fasting sample. Responded to the office a third time today for a 9 o'clock appointment. At 9:15 they requested payment and told me 2 persons were in front of me. I refused to pay, ask for my medical reports and ultimately left the office. That office crew is something else! They provided me only with one set of blood results. They neglected to give me the newest set of results. Dr. Shanik, if you're reading this, my time is no less valuable than your time. I went to you for help, not for aggravation.

I came to Dr. Kugler on an emergency basis,just after being at Mather Hospital for 6 days with diabetic keto acidosis. I was dangerously ill but with the help of Dr. Kugler and their dietitian my health and spirits are great. My A1C have been as low as 5.1 I have never had a problem with their staff and they always accommodate me if I have a request like a blood report copy. Dr. Kugler has always been pleasant and informative and I look forward to my visits with him at Endocrine Associates.

If I could I would give them 11. Professionalism from the time you make an appointment, needless to say following. Dr isabela Romano was fantastic, she was thorough, caring, and very professional! Following my appt with her, btw she even checkered the sonagram by preforming herself.
Dr Romano explained everything she wanted done and why. You can not ask for more than that! I continued by doing what she wanted which was a FNA. Dr. Mike did that and I am especially happy that he too possessed the same qualities Dr Romano possessed. Sometimes you have to wait a little but it is well worth it, I am very fortunate to have been referred to Long Island endocrinology. Dr Mike had excellent bedside manner too. His assistant, was incredible. Appreciate all their knowledge and incredible aptitude. I felt like a person and no one took that away!
