25 Canal St, New York“Pretty interesting spot to get fresh fruit slush. You pay and then grab a number tag and wait. There was a little line.. since it’s summer time!
Watermelon one, super refreshing!”
“4 stars for the quality of produce, always fresh and great prices. We are regulars here.Minus 1 star for the unpleasant staff experience. Hoping it’s a one off.She dropped a bag of grapes by accident on the floor while cashing us out and refused to replace it blaming my family for not being fast enough to catch it while it slipped off the cash counter (?) Just left a bad impression on me. Usually the staff is very pleasant and helpful.”
7:30AM - 8PM
272 Knickerbocker Ave, Brooklyn“Great selection of fresh fruit. If you are buying one for a snack on the go, they will wash it up for you, too! Treat yourself to something tasty and eat it in the park.”
“I got a basket full of all kinds of stuff-- dairy, meat, veggies staples, cold cuts & cheese, prepared dessert & entrees -- for $109.
Yes it's messy & disorganized but basically clean & with wide aisles -- and lots of interesting goodies like ready-to-bake fruits of the forest pastries.”
8:30AM - 10:30PM
8625 Bergenline Ave, North Bergen“It was the closest supermarket to where we stayed, it is not the best but at least you save money to buy snacks and breakfast, you need many practical things, but better than not having anything nearby to buy”
“Best fruit store in Greenpoint. They always have the freshest produce that is worth every penny. Everyone who works there is very sweet and helpful. The owners are wonderful. I always get the pre cut papaya, which is always fresh and very sweet. They are the best by far in the neighborhood hands down! .”
“This business was so kind and helpful. They helped me arrange for the delivery of a beautiful and ripe fruit platter! The fruit was delivered in a timely manner, it was clean, peeled and perfectly ripe. I was able to place an order all the way from Texas with great ease. I highly recommend Julio's for any and all fruit/veggie platters, gifts and and the like. Thank yall so very much for your kindness in helping me to brighten my family's day. Yall take care and be blessed.”
“The staff is very attentive. It is the most affordable market for fruits and vegetables I have ever seen. It is even more affordable than Walmart. I really liked the butcher's section for fruits and vegetables. You should definitely visit it.”
10:15AM - 4PM
330 Albany Ave, Brooklyn“I love going here. The produce is fresh (sometimes a bit more expensive), there is good variety, the store has cute decor, and their employees are super nice and friendly. Overall a very pleasant experience. :)”

30-72 Steinway St, Queens“Yummy DELICIOUS birria pizza and al pastor pizza. I did half and half a medium for $25. It was SO GOOD. I definitely recommend. Me personally I liked the birria side better, but my friend liked the al pastor better. So I guess just try both flavors!”
9AM - 8PM
3006 3rd Ave, Bronx“Always my number 1 place to grocery shopping, prices are reasonable, and NO ONE CAN BEAT THEM..... average Supermarket is way too expensive. I GOT 4 shopping bags, 2 plastic backs and one back pack full of groceries for 133.89. Yet in any supermarket same items would had cost me around 250.00 or more.”
“Brothers Produce & Fish Supermarket has just about everything you need to create a meal. They have fresh fruit vegetables, provisions, fish, and more. This store has a variety of products, including Caribbean, Latin, and various other international items, to make your dish exactly the way you like it.”
Open 24 hours
32-24 30th Ave., Astoria“United Brothers Fruit Markets is located in Astoria, Queens. Open 24 hours / 7 days a week, various produce is available. The apples sold here come straight from NY State Farms, and it is to support local farmers. Connected right next door to the marketplace is where they have a Juice Bar & sell fresh juices & smotthies as well as their infamous Hot Apple Teas! United Brothers Fruit Market is accessible via public transportation, which includes the N train to 30 Ave. It is a short walking distance from the train station and is close to a host of hang-out spots, eateries, etc. and not too far from shops on Steinway (GAP, Banana Republic, etc.) When arriving at United Brothers Fruit Markets, there are Hot Apple Tea samples that once can try near the outside front entrance. This establishment introduced me to Hot Apple Tea, and it is delicious. Although I have purchased reasonably priced produce many times, United Brothers Fruit Markets 100% Natural Homemade Hot Apple Tea is my favorite thing to purchase here, and I have had various flavors. Strawberry Blueberry Hot Apple Tea, Spearmint Hot Apple Tea, Ginger Cinnamon Hot Apple Tea, Mango Hot Apple Tea, Ginger Hot Apple Tea, etc....you name it and they sell it. The Pineapple Hot Apple Tea is so good. A regular size Hot Apple Tea is $5, and a large size is $7. The Hot Apple Teas are so refreshing. 8:30AM - 8PM
492 Main St, Hackensack“My only issue is the way customers line up in aisles verses moving on to registers to check out.
This system of customers queuing
up in the grocery aisles blocks the acess of customers with shopping carts between waiting customers
too check out with customers who
are still shopping! Only hiccup however "Aldi" has descent prices on prepared "dinner" selections & frozen veggies & Cheese, fresh produce that rival the Major Brand Supermarkets prices in Bergen.
If you looking keep your food budget in line drop by " Aldi's" for realistic grocery shopping prices ! Also you will need to pay a "Quarter fee" to release a shopping cart! Don't 4get shopping bags!! Keep mind " Aldi's "
is similar too a TraderJoes - doesn't carry "hundreds" of food items but don't worry there are many tasty international food items to discover !!?”
9AM - 8PM
4 Memorial Dr, Lodi“Awesome prices on most items, still missing more products but overall it saves you money. Non Aldi's products could be high priced and that plus the limited selections is why I did not give it a fifth star”
9AM - 4PM
3842 9th Ave, New York“Great little neighborhood family run market for years. Has a little of everything you might need.clean, friendly, a notch above the small markets and bodegas in the neighborhood. No deli counter or salad bar etc, just a pure small market”
8:30AM - 7PM
5590 Broadway, Bronx“Wow! Great prices and quality!Nice people who work there too.Our first stop for produce.Small but great. If it's in season, they have it.We live in Riverdale but it's worth the drive down.Parking options by Stop and Shop two blocks away.”
Open 24 hours
3212 30th Ave., Astoria“the closest thing to a green market in Queens. Fruits and vegetables and bunches of herbs locally sourced and achingly fresh and delicious. Garlic so new and flavorful that I've had to cut down in recipes. L.I. tomatoes glowing with real dirt picked fresh off the vine--no wonder they've been here fifty years and open until midnight. The beginning of fall apples waiting for pies and apple sauce. The two women who run it are sympathetic and helpful. If you can't find it, they'll know where it is. Even the potatoes taste fresh--so different from standard grocery store fare! Summer asparagus that I couldn't stop eating. And baby zuchinni and I don't like zuchinni. I am so happy. I didn't think when I moved anything could equal the Sunday market at the museum of Natural History. Elliniki more than succeeds--and its open seven days a week.”
9AM - 8:30PM
845 White Plains Rd, Bronx“The place was very clean and organized. The food looked fresh and the price was reasonable. Although it went up a bit, from the last time I was there. Inflation isn't our best friend. ? I don't need a shopping cart because I don't have much to pick up, so it would be nice to have a hand basket. Furthermore, the self checkout is cool. I'm usually in and out.”
“Love this place. Farmers markets like this are so important in urban areas. Thank you guys for everything!!!! There are always fresh vegetables and fruits stocked. Certainly a community staple.”
“I love, love, love this produce market! Yes, even though they are remodeling right now, but they will be back sooner or later. In the meantime, K&Y Fruit and Veggie is owned by the same family. It's further down Court Street, and has a verrrry similar assortment and vibe. Anyway, back to the reasons I love this market: Quality is quite high; prices are very reasonable; and it's also nice to have the Asian sauces and condiments in the back, too. In all, a real service to the neighborhood. Could not have higher words of praise for any shop in the area.”
8AM - 5PM
7549 Metropolitan Ave, Flushing“Stumbled upon this authentic Italian grocery market because I saw these huge Kinder eggs that I purchased for my sons 3rd birthday. They have all sorts of fresh pasta, cheeses, olives. I would definitely return here and spend more time to purchase ingredients.Parking can be a hassle in this area so it’s best to go in the morning or later at night as there’s too much commercial traffic in between. Parking is also metered so be sure to have coins in case these pesky machines keep declining your card!Huge bonus, Dollar tree is right across the street!”
10AM - 5PM
6365 108th St, Queens“Forest Hills Pharmacy has a reputation in Forest hills, Rego park, and Corona for being the local's first choice when it comes to medication or other pharmacy goods. The place is spotless and the people working there are not just attentive, but compassionate. It doesn't feel like your corporate pharmacy and instead has the feel of a mom and pop shop. Thank you to Ester and all of her staff.”
Open 24 hours
5724 5th Ave, Brooklyn“Amy’s has a great selection of fresh produce and fruits, as well as a varied selection of Mexican goods. Being open 24 hrs allows me to get part of my groceries done at any time. The space is small and cramped, but the selection and their business hours means I come back again and again. Staff are also incredibly friendly and helpful.”
“All freshly produce products feels good to see. There are 10 stores, those are vegetable ??, ?,Cheese ?, apple ?, 3 of bread ?? fish ??, egg ?? honey ?? jam . Farmers come from outside the city of New York with a covered van. The have parking ?️ for the farmers.”
