I had a disappointing experience at the salon and won't be returning. During my visit, I encountered two staff members who were unprofessional. The individual who assisted me, who happened to be pregnant, was rude, incompetent, and seemed disinterested in her job. When I asked about the service rates, she responded dismissively, indicating that it would be less than $40. Despite the cost, the service was completed hastily, and I felt that I could have done a better job myself at home. To make matters worse, the staff member whispered to her colleague about the condition of my hair, which was embarrassing. When it came time to pay, I was surprised to find that the bill exceeded $70, far more than I had been led to believe. This lack of transparency and professionalism reflects poorly on the salon's management and training practices. I strongly advise others to avoid this salon to spare themselves a similarly unpleasant experience.

I had an important last minute event to attend so I decided to place my trust in a highlight, shampoo and cut at the Mohawk Commons location. I was booked with Gardenia.She listened to me and took her time formulating a plan for the services I was to receive. Gardenia thoroughly explained what she was doing throughout the process. I was in a place of grief and Gardenia was pleasant and conversational. I left feeling beautiful and very satisfied with the quality of my hair cut and highlights.
