I can't get over what an unpleasant experience it was visiting the Sayville Quest. I have lived in Sayville my whole life and have always patronized the businesses in my hometown but Quest Sayville is unlike any other lab I've ever been to---There is no going the extra mile at Sayville Quest Diagnostics. I've never seen a business operate this way. The waiting room is filthy. You check yourself in at a kiosk and keep your back to the wall, at least that's what it feels like in there. During my visit, there was a lone employee with a cold, robotic attitude named Ashley. My test was an allergy test but there was a discrepancy with how the doctor wrote the request so Ashley needed to call my doctor's office for clarification. She waited on hold for 5 minutes when I asked her if my other bloodwork could be done as I was worried about picking my children up from school on time. She hung up the phone (???) and told me I'd have to get it written properly. I asked her to call back and she announced "I'm done" , I know you had an appointment but I'm done, I'll do your one test but you have to come back for the other". I explained to her that it's more time I'd have to take off of work but like she had just announced, she was done and didn't give a flying damn. I work in the mental health field and I cannot imagine telling a client "sorry, I'm done". What a gross disappointment coming from a supposed medical professional. I will definitely drive the extra few miles to Lab Corp after such a cold, indifferent and f&$% you experience, wow.

You cannot speak to anyone on the phone to schedule appointments, everything has to be online, I am commenting through my wife since she has internet access and I do not. There's no window with anyone to greet you when you arrive. Place is dreary and very impersonal.

This place has the ambiance of a boarded up abandoned building in the hood. The waiting room is filthy. Instead of sealing up the receptionist window area, they've put some makeshift, trashy covering over it. It doesn't get any better once you are invited inside for samples to be taken. The rugs there are absolutely filthy. The bathroom/bodily fluid sample area hasn't been cleaned in years. Toilet is constantly running. Post sample hand washing is not encouraged as there is an industrial sized roll of paper towels haphardardly put on top of the toilet tank instead of in the (empty - and probably broken) automatic paper towel dispenser. Filth and disrepair is not what you want to see when going to a place to give blood and other samples. It makes you wonder what their actual testing laboratory looks like. With the high volume of customers passing through the door, it's apparent that Quest is raking in the money. How about spending a few pennies to make your office look sanitary for your customers.

Cmon quest, maybe fix up the waiting room so it doesn't look like a roadside pay by the hr motel. At least the ladies who work there are professional.

Service was quick- hardly anyone there on Mondays at 11 am..the lab tech was nice and got me out of there quickly..I didn't have the script with me but she was able to pull it up on her computer, she knew where to look for it on the computer. I will definitely be going back

Nurse was over the top nice, helpful and professional. No she did not pay me to say this. I was a walk-in on my 4th try. Script not sent from dr. office, your pc were down another, I arrived after 3pm. She was busy but got me in somehow and out right away. Thanks!

I have no issues with service received ever, but I always have issues with the billing, I pay my bill and keep getting billed until I call and explain the bill was paid already. The billing department there is a joke so I decided to find another lab next time because this is happening all the time.

Excellent!! Always timely, as long as I don't forget to make an appointment. Technicians have been great and I am a difficult person to find a vein on. thank you!

If I could give this place a double zero I would. Needs a complete reno. You sign in to a computer that doesn’t work. Can’t get a live person to make an appt. Short staffed and rude. Get them HELP!! I will use sunrise labs from now on.

This lab needs to be shut down. There’s no receptionist and the check in kiosk keeps telling people that their appointments do not exist. When multiple people asked the employees why their appointments weren’t showing up on the kiosk, they told patients that their appointments weren’t in the system, although they had confirmation numbers for their APPOINTMENTS. The phlebotomist with long blonde, curly hair was also dismissive and rude regarding the complaints about the kiosk not working. Do better. If you don’t want to be in the medical field then get out. This location was basically empty from 1:45 pm to 2:30 pm and the appointments that were taken, took about 5 minutes to complete. This is shameful.

Sarah Pluta was amazing. Most have trouble getting my vain but she got it with one shot! Check in was painless and didn’t have to wait long. Results were next day! Thank you!

Bad customer service, no regard to patient care. Will not be going to this location again.
