I purchased a 2021 Traverse RS from 112 Chevrolet in June/July 2021. Could not have been more dissatisfied with the treatment of everyone at that dealership, especially service manager. Decided to look at the new 2024 Traverse RS and took a visit to the North Shore Chevrolet of Smithtown. After 1 visit to NS Chevrolet, I was already sold on trading in my 2021 Traverse RS and starting new with the 2024 Traverse RS. Me and my family could not be more happy to no longer have any interaction with 112 Chevrolet of Medford and now interact with NS Chevrolet of Smithtown. A+ satisfaction.

Great experience. I worked with Jim Calobrisi on my new lease and the experience could not have been better. He was extremely knowledgeable and got me taken care of very quickly; definitely my dealership from now on

This is my second time using the dealership. I always seem to find the nicest sales person. Tommy was outstanding. He was patient real understanding and honest.

Our experience at Chevrolet of Smithtown was pleasant. We dealt with Alex Mora and he was wonderful. I had traded my vehicle for my new purchase. I realized that night that I had left some cash in my truck. My husband had texted him to let him know. I thought to myself am I really going to get this money back? Alex was kind enough to look in my truck for the money. He took a picture of the money, and had it put away so we could pick it up at our leisure. I thought what a wonderful and honest man he is. We will definitely be doing business with Alex in the future.

I honestly wished I can give zero stars. My husband bought a used car at this dealership, he paid $4000 down payment towards the car. 2 weeks later we call the lender to pay off the car in full and learn that None of the down payment was applied to the principle payment of the car. We call the dealership and ask for accounting which for a whole week we keep getting forgotten on hold and no call back . We eventually drove back to Smithtown Chevrolet from queens and spoke to the accounting department who told us that we purchased an extended warranty for $2000? What we didn’t! $500 went towards paperwork and $1500 was taxes. How could they fail to tell you where your $$ was going? What a bunch of clowns at this dealership. I’ve never felt so racially profiled in all my life. Just the way they spoke and the tone that was used. Anywho we were able to cancel the extended warranty. I’m still patiently waiting to see if the $2000 will be applied to the principle payment as promised.

I decided to take my car to the Chevy dealership because my oil was leaking. When I spoke to the front desk, the overall tone of the staff was demeaning. I explained that the car's oil was bone dry, as nothing read on the dipstick. She began to tell me I was wrong, asserting that if it were truly bone dry, the car would be knocking, and the engine would seize. While I understood her point, her tone was condescending, making me feel inferior.
She asked where I had my last oil change and if it was Jiffy Lube. When I confirmed, she immediately blamed them for the leak, which I found unprofessional since they hadn’t yet inspected my car. Despite this, I dropped the car off for an oil change and tire rotation. By 2 o'clock, I called to check if the car was ready, and it was. It’s frustrating that the dealership never calls to notify when the car is done, letting it sit all day until the customer calls. This inefficiency and higher cost are why I prefer Jiffy Lube over the dealership.
When I picked up my car, the same front desk lady informed me that the wheel lock wasn’t in the car, blaming Jiffy Lube for not putting it back. I told her it was in the car, and I had not had my tires rotated yet. She insisted they searched high and low and it wasn’t there. I suggested if I found it, should I bring it back, to which she skeptically replied they would do it immediately. I walked to the back to get my car, and I checked my glove box and found the wheel lock right there.
I walked back into the front desk of the service area and let her know the wheel lock was in the car glove box, literally right there. I knew it was an honest mistake as I was smiling about how one could have missed it, but she aggressively demanded to see it. She called over the technician who worked on my car and reprimanded him in front of me. He denied seeing it and implied that I might be deceitful. He looked at me and said that it was not in there. This implication was insulting and confusing. I felt disgusted by their attitude and thought, “This is why I avoid bringing my car to the dealership.”
Throughout this ordeal, I was spoken to in a demeaning manner, treated as if I didn’t understand basic concepts, and essentially called a liar. I paid for a service that wasn’t completed (tire rotation). I told them, "I do not have time for this, get me out of here." I will not return to this dealership, which is unfortunate because I love Chevy and my vehicles. However, I strongly dislike my local Smithtown Chevrolet dealership.

Stay FAR away. I don’t normally leave negative reviews. That being said I felt compelled to write this. My salesman was named Thomas. He was nice enough. The real problem is the sales manager Monica. The numbers she gave on my lease quote were not only a lot HIGHER than the online advertised price on the website. Which she chalked up to thousands in taxes like we can’t figure out taxes ourselves. That would be bad by itself but dealers do that all the time unfortunately, But I have a GM Family member discount and she factored that $2250 in the higher than advertised price. Does she think that people can’t do basic math? I don’t know I was ready lease the car today. Now I will never do business with this stealership. They probably get over on older people all the time. I run an LED mobile billboard truck company And I am going to park my truck outside of the dealership to try and save people from being scammed. Stay tuned.

Danielle Lux Is the person I see. I transferred to your service department because of her. She has called me to let me know when a Service is coming up and always gives me great service.
