I feel it’s imperative to express my profound disappointment with the service I received during my recent visit to Sammy and Nat. My experience was so disheartening that I feel compelled to post this review on Google, with the hope that no other customer has to endure what my wife and I did.
Upon entering your establishment, which we had high hopes for, we were met with a complete disregard for customer service. An employee, a young woman that was a brunette appearing to be in her early to mid 20s, was so engrossed in her cell phone that it was impossible to garner her attention. Despite our attempts to engage her for assistance, she remained oblivious to our presence, choosing instead to prioritize her personal device over the customers standing right in front of her.
This behavior is not only unprofessional but also an abomination to the patrons in the store. We visited your store with the intention of supporting a local business and possibly making a purchase. However, the lack of basic customer service and courtesy has left us feeling utterly disregarded and undervalued.
It is with regret that I inform anyone that reads this that due to this experience, my wife and I have decided to take our business elsewhere. We had hoped for a pleasant shopping experience at Sam & Nat, but we were sorely disappointed. We find it unacceptable to patronize a store that does not value its customers or train its staff to uphold basic standards of service and professionalism.
I urge you to address this issue promptly to ensure that no other customer has to go through a similar experience. It is crucial for the success of any retail business to prioritize customer satisfaction and service. Unfortunately, it is too late for us, as we have made the decision to never return to Sammy + Nat. We will be taking our business back to Buy Buy Baby, where we hope to find the customer service that was so lacking in your store.

I had a $200+ gift card. My daughter is 6yrs old and honestly, I tried finding things for her but had a hard time. Now that I recently had my second baby I decided to use the gift card on stuff for him and to my surprise the gift card expired a year later after it was issued. I only missed the expiration date by 6 days so I reached out to them via email. They replied almost 2 weeks later and told me they wouldn't honor the gift card because it expired. Never ever ever shipping with them again!

Average kids clothing , horrific customer service. Whoever I spoke to in "customer service" was rude, condescending and absolutely zero help. With 7 grandchildren I don't think I will be ordering from this small company again. There are so many other great websites with adorable kids clothing - no need to deal with this one. Who ever the inexperienced owner of this company is should take a close look at their issues.

I shopped here at the sample sale. The person ahead of me at the register placed a large order and was buying for family members out of state and shipping part of her order to the Carolinas. After the customer ahead of me walked away, the two associates at the register insulted the patron and said she was always so rude every time she shops at the store. I was in shock that the staff would insult another patron in front of customers! I should have left then and there because it was clear there is no respect for customers supporting the store. Then the staff wrote down my monogram order on a single order form in a rush and joked that it was "bad practice" to write two orders on one form. There is nothing funny about potentially incorrectly writing down my order. To be clear, I did not feel rushed. I felt that it was unprofessional and rushed for the sales person writing my order to not take the time and care to use two forms for two different orders and then laugh about it. Then she did not allow me an opportunity to review the order form. Now, the monogram order inevitably is incorrect and the store is blaming me! WE DID NOT FILL OUT THE FORM TOGETHER. I HAD NO ROLE IN WRITING ANYTHING ON THE FORM. I WAS NOT GIVEN ANY OPPORTUNITY TO REVIEW THE FORM. THEN THE STORE TAKES NO RESPONSIBILITY for their mistake and instead says that me the customer must have forgotten that I changed my mind and calls me a liar. I did not change my mind or forget anything I ordered. I had a very specific idea of what I ordered and was clear. The only remedy they suggest is to undo the monogram, which they advised will most likely damage the sweaters. Then they suggest to put a large letter over the pulled sweater to cover up the damage - which is damaged and incorrect! Or I can buy a new sweater than what I initially asked for at a "discount" when i already paid over $100. The stores attitude is that the customer is wrong is shameful. Also, I was told the manger would call me back and she never did. It has been two weeks. Samantha took the time to respond to this review. However she has my email and phone number but will not return my call -more great customer "service". DO NOT SHOP here!

I've only had great experiences at this gorgeously curated boutique of fabulous baby and children clothing, accessories, toys, gift + more. When you walk in, someone will usually run over to help you with the door and your stroller, and then welcome you to peruse or help you find exactly what you're looking for. If they don't have a size of something, they'll check their second location and HQ for you. They'll also send gifts directly on your behalf -- truly helping you every step of the way. Did I mention they're absolute pros when it comes to gift wrapping? Their bi-annual sales are a MUST and always highly anticipated by all of their customers. And come the holidays, it's my go-to place for children's gifts and their holiday outfits (and jammies). In short, it's a downtown Rye shopping staple and a wonderful experience every time!

The absolute best store for finding gifts for kiddos in your life with lots of options. Plus, the Sammy + Nat brand is top notch quality and all of my nieces and nephews (and their parents!) love the pjs. Helpful staff and great online options are an added bonus.

Great quality clothing, not to mention the PJs are adorable and sooo durable!! My son is now wearing daughter hand me downs and trust me, she wore them every night and I was shocked they didn't wear in the knees, get holes or dull in color!! Love love love

I am not surprised at all to see another bad review on here from less than 2 months ago regarding another awful experience with customer "service". I could not agree more with this prior review and I do not recommend shopping here due to the rude and condescending staff. I barely write reviews but I am taking the time to write here and warn other customers of the unprofessionalism as this is no way to do business! Much better to buy these clothes from other department stores or directly from the manufacturer who have much better treatment and actually value customers.
