A great place to find unique works. I visited during the Fringe festival for a show hosted here called 'Play in a day' and it was fantastic. Writers and Books is a literary oasis and non-profit organization supporting local creators.
In waiting for my show to begin I found an eclectic assortment of books by local authors in the indie book store within, &Ampersand Books. I did not have enough time to peruse the entire store, but I definitely need to carve out time to come back, and soon.

Great venue, solid performances from Scott Williams and Bill Pruitt. The consignment is a bit steep, but par for the course/ industry standard. If they lowered the consignment I'd introduce my singular mediocre book. Great staff though. Very polite and engaging

Spacious, clean. Welcoming and friendly staff. I hosted Writer's Paradise in 2018 and 2019. I also hosted my book signing here in 2020. This is an ideal space for writers to focus.

Do I get to come back tomorrow? Best question your kid can ask at the end of their first day of summer camp. Both of my children have done camps at the summer program here and they've loved it. Very friendly, kind, helpful staff that are 100% invested in what they do.
