I’ve been coming to Michele for about 9 years and her styling and coloring is stunning! One L always has a very professional, welcoming, and friendly atmosphere and I can’t recommend it enough!

I moved here 3 years ago and am so thankful I found this place! I made the mistake of spending less money in attempt to save and went to Hairzoo, only to have ugly orange highlights and months of regret! You get what you pay for! My first time was with Michele, and I loved hearing her story and passion about creating a talented and calm space for her art. She is compassionate and great at serving her clients! Loved my hair after! It's really a wonderful, clean, and serene spot. The last two times I was with Ali, and I loved my hair each time! As a busy stay at home mom, I usually only get my hair done once in a while so having it look good for the long term is a must. The first time around I specifically came in bc I was getting some family photos done for the holidays. I had some long layers and balayage (I'll attach some of the family photos done by Alyssa Vanzo Photography so people can see!) Most recently I came in to get my hair darkened and shorter. I'll be back again as a regular client! Also-- congrats to Ali & her upcoming wedding! Wishing Ali a special day, and even more wonderful marriage!

Love coming to this salon! It is always a relaxing and fun atmosphere and there is always plenty of space so even during Covid I have felt so comfortable coming in spending the time to get my hair done. Everyone is lovely but Alex is especially wonderful! She has done color and cuts on me since she got to the salon and I can honestly say I have loved it all. She is always great during the consultation giving me suggestions and looking at pictures with me so we get the perfect style and she is always great at letting me know a price estimate before she starts anything. She is truly a genius with color and excellent with cuts as well. She is always kind and fun and remembers things about me from one appointment to the next. So nice to find some one so talented, kind and funny! I have even gotten my mom to come to Alex and she has been wonderful with her too! Highly recommend!!

I got my hair cut and colored by Ali in September and I'm still obsessed with it! I wanted a complete change to go from a balayage to a nice fall brown. She nailed it. I'm always so nervous to try different salons but Ali made me feel confident and at peace right away. She is hilarious and truly just a beautiful soul. She checked in with me throughout the entire process to ensure she was doing what I envisioned. I've never been able to go this long without maintenance and still love my hair..it's grown out perfectly. Definitely recommend and will be going back to her soon!

I'm sad to say that I've been unhappy with my hair since I walked out of the salon. The salon was polite and they had appointments during my desired time so I am appreciative of that but the actual service was just not good. I had blonde blocks in my hair and was ready to go back to my natural brown hair color as well as to get a haircut. During the initial check in I told her that I wanted curtain bangs as well as to go back to my natural brown color. I made specific note that I did not want warm brown hair and that I felt very strongly I wanted neutral brown and if anything, cooler tone is better. The next very strong distinction I made was that I didn't want my curtain bangs to fall exactly on my cheek bones and that I have wavy hair so airing on the side of long is better. We go through the appointment and as my stylist was rinsing my hair, she says "okay, so it's definitely warm brown..." and I was immediately frustrated but I didn't say anything because she assured me the warmth would fade. As she starts drying my hair, she finished my bangs and they are the exact length I did not want. Again, frustrated but trying to roll with it because she seems nice enough and mistakes happen. I had asked for wavy bends in my hair so she got out the flat iron and the first half was great! I was feeling slightly better about the whole thing and looked back down at my phone. When I look up 5 minutes later, I realized she didn't alternate directions on the second half of my head. She gave me waves away from my head on the first half and waves towards my face on the second effectively giving me a mullet on one side and nice beachy hair on the other. At this point, I asked her if she could please fix the one side. She apologized and said she was practicing and that she'd fix it. She did her best but my hair had been set in on direction so she had to sit there continuously running over sections on a hot setting to try and fix it meanwhile I was cringing at the smoke of my hair getting fried repeatedly. I left the appointment a bit sad telling myself oh well it's just hair... every time someone takes my picture, I cringe at the brassy warm brown hair and laugh every time I use my expensive shampoo/conditioner and Dyson to maintain my hair I no longer like. She was nice and maybe someone would enjoy this hair but this just is not what I asked for.

So very happy to find Michele & One L Co. Ali cut and colored my hair and I adore her work. She is very talented and has a great eye. I was pretty indecisive and she is a splendid guide. I will definitely be returning time and time again. The salon is clean and friendly. It has a homey vibe and the interior reminded me of my childhood home. I will post pics soon.

I went to Michele and one L on Saturday. I'm new to the area and was hoping to find a salon to go to. I have read nothing but great reviews from this salon. I also have a friend who loves going here so I thought I'd give it a try. I've never dyed my hair before so I was unsure of what I wanted. The hairstyle was very friendly and gave me recommendations based on my hair (I have wavy/curly hair). She recommended caramel highlights (which I thought was a great idea). She suggested she free hand the highlights because she stated it would be best to preserve my curls vs foil. I wish I could say I loved the outcome but frankly I don't. Maybe it just wasn't the right style for me. However, there are large and small spotty highlights toward the front of my head and nothing toward the back. Not to mention my curl pattern has lost its shape and its very dry! Does this mean it's damaged from bleach? Like I said, I've never had dye in my hair before so I'm unsure. Also, I asked for a bob haircut and the cut is very uneven. I was at the salon for almost 4hrs so I didn't want to have the stylist change anything especially since I was in a time crunch. I thought that giving myself some time to adjust to the new style would help but it hasn't

Jayme seriously rocks!! I had a personal relationship with her before she became my daughters stylist, and she’s now becoming one of the only people I trust with our hair!! My teenager is very self conscious, but Jayme always makes her feel, and look beautiful!!

After not getting the results I wanted at another salon, I came here to get what I actually wanted done and Michele exceeded my expectations!! She did highlights on my hair taking it from black to an ashy blonde, which I love. She really listened to what I wanted and delivered! Michele was very knowledgeable and clearly knows what she’s doing. If you’re looking for a stylist that you can trust and who will listen to you, come here! I would 12/10 recommend and will definitely be returning!
