We were so glad to have a store in downtown Rochester, NY when it first opened but every single time we have been there either the store is not open during posted business hours, they no longer have carts for use and won't let us use our own cart when getting heavy items and/or the customer service is literally terrible.
Today, Tuesday 8/27/2024, at 11:30 am, we were charged more than we were prepared to pay and canceled the debit purchase but the cashier forced it through. We were forced to pay for the purchase and got upset. The manager told us "you don't need to shop here". Where was this manager trained in customer service? I was in retail for many years and have never encountered such disrespect toward customers especially by a manager. This woman needs to either be retrained or fired.

Nothing wrong with the store itself, decent stock, fresh fruit at times, nice employees, however there is a certain annoying goofiness about this store. "The system is down" and the store closed in middle of the day very common here. You never know if its open or closed..

Dirty store, no public restrooms (anti-homeless policy), no cash back after 5:30, doors locked and someone has to let you in — bad for the community

I needed laundry detergent, and the doors were locked at 6:30. They had a sign on the door saying that they would be open at 5:30 which means they were closed doe. For longer than 1 hour.

Second time i purchased several items only to be charged for additional stuff i didnt buy or leave with..the store is disgusting and filthy. the coolers flooding the very dirty floors. this store went down hill and will go out of business soon. HORRIBLE. I have seen employee theft as a major issue and the prices are crazy high.

The last time I went in there the security guard demanded i leave my backpack in a pile of junk at the front of the store. He never looked at me, even when i asked where to leave my bag. Today, despite google saying they were open, i found a locked door and a sign that said they'd be back in an hour, with no reference to when the sign was posted. It's terrible that one of the only options for fresh food downtown is so inconsistent.

Ignore the opening times, these guys just shut the store randomly whenever they want ?. I was on my way yo gey the bus back home around 3pm and they had a woman at the front telling everyone they were shut.I went the day before and they had no produce but tomatoes.
