Drove 2 hours with my 88-y-o mom who was eager to visit the charming shops of Red Hook. Little Pickles did not disappoint! Unique collections of trinkets, toys, books, and so much more in an adorable store. Eight hours later, my mom could not locate a greeting card that she purchased (a daily occurrence for her). I called Little Pickles and, although they do not offer shipping, Shelby graciously offered to personally mail a new card. She was so kind and understanding. That type of outstanding, above-and-beyond service is practically unheard of today...the kind of excellence that all customers (and employers) are lucky to encounter. Thank you so much!!

Little Pickles is such a gem to have in Red Hook! Rebecca really cares about children and takes a lot of time selecting toys, shoes, clothing, and other little goods that are great for children’s growing minds and bodies. My kids are always begging to stop in to spend their allowance money. We always end up grabbing a sweet from one of the old fashioned candy jars and hanging out on the porch after.

My favorite place to get candy! I got red licorice strings and fruit slices. My kid got black licorice.

Great small, locally owned toy store. It's great to have somewhere in our town to go and buy some things with the kids as well as some clothes and shoes for the little ones.

Small toy store that has just about anything you could want. From clothing to candy, toys and games. This place is a must stop for my two girls. Prices are excellent and we would rather support a small town store with charm that gives back to the community then a big box store.

Super cute, totally out of place, toy store. A lot of unique gifts for those who have just about everything. The woman behind the counter, not sure her name, was absolutely great! Definitely recommend a stop by if you are in the area.

I needed to buy some gifts for my daughter’s birthday, but due to the covid-19 situation, was unable to do any in-person shopping anywhere! Rebecca was kind enough to send me tons of pictures to choose from - we got a whole gift package, along with balloons, gift-wrapping — she completely saved the day, and ensured my little girl had the most wonderful day! She has wonderful toys, amazing customer service, and I can’t wait to go back and get more goodies for my little one...

Don't miss this unique little toy and candy store in Downtown Red Hook, NY that caters to the Lilliputian set. This store has all things for children from ice cream and candy packaged so nicely to story books, games puzzles and clothing that cater to every child. They have a section with a small castle that kids can play in (not now with COVID-19) with trains to play with while their siblings try on clothes. The back part of the store is filled top to bottom with games, experiments, puzzles and classic toys. They have a unique mix of items for gifts and have the perfect items for any child's birthday party. This is a one of kind store for the younger set.

Little Pickles has exceptional customer service. We are stuck at home during the pandemic and ran critically low on art supplies. Little Pickles made it easy to place an order over the phone. My kids were delighted with the big box of paints, tempera crayons, glitter glue, and other goodies that arrived. Mommy’s sanity restored!
