After having a horrible experience at another bridal shop, we were recommended to Town Bridal Shop for my daughter on Saturday. Laura was our consultant. She listened to my daughter and was very patient. She had her try on gowns that my daughter wanted then suggested a few of her own. My daughter fell in love with one of her suggestions. She also helped the MOG and myself in finding our gowns for the wedding. What a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend Town Bridal shop.

Apparently my first review was “lies and slander”
Ok so let’s do this again more simply put:
Our original receipt reads 1218 which is the price of a new dress
We show up and notice we have the floor dress.
That is when I was offered a discount.
Apparently every conversation I ever had with them was a “miscommunication”
A new dress was “rush ordered” and came in in 2 days and I was supposed to kiss their feet……..
for getting me the dress we paid for…….
Ok

A wonderful shopping experience!! My mother and I were shopping for a dress for my son’s wedding and Trish provided us with such a detail orientated and personalized experience. She listened to our needs and preferences and made suggestions accordingly. The Town Shop had a great selection of gowns with friendly and helpful sales associates. Ultimately I did not purchase a dress with them since my dream dress was waiting for me elsewhere, but Trish was so wonderful that I needed to take time to acknowledge her.

Just a quick thank you to Trish for a wonderful experience in helping me pick the perfect mother of the groom gown. Not only is she knowledgeable on their inventory. She has an eye for what dress would looked best on my body shape. This was my first time in the town shop and I will definitely be coming back for all my special occasions and sending my friends and family as well. Great communication and a warm inviting atmosphere.

Not a welcoming, helpful business for your special occasion… associates are rude, pushy and ignorant to your idea of the style gown you’re looking for. Bad energy all around.

WILL NEVER go here again for any dress. Ordered a dress for my mother for my wedding in JUNE, and in February months later they couldn't find the dress. Then when she picks up the dress it's a size 20. When she's like a size 10. Insane. Worst experience ever. Better off ordering off Amazon. As the dress was falling off her, and had my mother call back multiple time when they said the dress was in. And just kept putting her off. Like I said. Never going back

Gretchen was wonderful. Incredibly patient with me, worked with me to find the perfect dress, listened to what I wanted and what I was lookin for. Ended up finding my wedding dress. Wonderful experience, highly recommend! Gretchen, thank you again!

Mother of the bride here! I was dreading going dress shopping and went alone. I called and made an appointment at The Towne Shop. They were nice right from the start!!
I walked in feeling dreadful honestly! I met Laura & my night changed. She was like a long lost friend! Very knowledgable, and extremely patient! They had a huge selection. I honestly could’ve tried on every dress in the store and it would’ve been ok with her!! No rushing at all!! She was honest and helped me stick to my list of must haves.I did find my dress!!
I highly recommended The Towne Shop. I cannot thank Laura enough for helping me pick out a dress for an extremely special event. I cannot thank you enough for your never ending patience!!

My mother and I walked in 1.5 hours before they closed to ask a couple questions on booking an appointment and to see if they had a specific dress in their inventory, and the woman refused to assist us. She advised us to come back when they had more time (we were the only customers in the store). Would not recommend.

Kathy was very attentive to our needs. She gave us our space and time. We did not feel rushed. She provided wonderful suggestions and feedback without a sales pitch. Very personable and professional. The selection of mother-of-the-bride dresses was outstanding!

Do not use the Town shop in Poughkeepsie to buy a wedding dress horrible customer service I gave them a $500 deposit back in July and I was told that they were doing a rush on a wedding dress that I wanted and that it would be in in 1 to 2 weeks I never heard back from them again and they finally called me today to months later to see the dresses in well now my wedding is less than a month away and it is way too late to buy it and do alterations and I had to get a different dress and they are telling me they will not give me back my $500 deposit two weeks is a big difference from two months I never would’ve given a deposit if I knew it wouldn’t come in in time

I am the new Hospitality Sales Director for Revel 32° in Poughkeepsie NY. I went to the Town Shop to meet with Gary, Kathy and Laura about teaming up to do an event together and they were wonderful; full of passion and excitement about what they do and it was so nice to see!
