Incredible first time experience for my children and I. The warmest welcome and best vibes. The attention and customer service even at closing time was so appropriate and thoughtful. We love our stones and I got a complimentary candle for my birthday! We are instantly customers for life and my kids ask me ALL THE TIME When we're going back ? SOON ❤️

Nice little shop. Lots of rocks to choose from. Some things are a little kitschy but not too bad. It's more of a touristy place than somewhere an actual witch might want to get supplies. They also sell a Lot of sage, which is apparently a huge problem for indigenous communities.

There was a review posted publicly in regards to preferential treatment of clients who were not of African american decent. I took my son with me per his request, the staff is always friendly, welcoming , and asked how they could help . I had no issue and got some good teas and stone bracelets. I had a good experience and I'm considered minority.

The store is beautiful, vast collection of stones and crystals. However be very weary of certain employees who seem to be bothered by your appearance. I made over 7-10 visits to this establishment and it seems every time the energy towards me is the same. They don't seem to like people of my kind (Latino/African American) and it clearly was evident. I gave the benefit of the doubt until today. Now if you want to be discriminated against and sadly support a business that does not support Latino and African American citizens. The dreaming goddess is the place to go. Don't go into a business that caters to the magical community and not be magically pleasant. It's the absolute least you can be. All the stones and crystals in the world can't change racism. It's extremely unfortunate. Karma - the cosmic principle according to which each person is rewarded or punished in one incarnation according to that person's deeds. MFF OCHA

Dreaming Goddess is by far the best metaphysical shop in the area, by far! Their stunning collection of crystals will make you go crazy (in a very good way). The workers are all very kind, knowledgable and friendly. They also have a great selection of books and a wonderful collection of tarot cards. Whenever I come here, I don't want to leave!

Perfect for the dabbler or experienced witch. They've got an amazing collection of crystals, tarot, spellbooks, jewelry, healing Chakra candles, stickers, and so much more. I could spend an entire day in this store. Great staff.

This was my very second, as opposed to my very first time, going to Dreaming Goddess. My first time was in January, 2022, and I went there to treat myself to some Birthday gifts. I would have much preferred to have returned sooner than a year later, but my schedule was such that I could not return until last week. This time, I purchased Birthday gifts for myself, a good friend whose Birthday is also in January, as well as some additional Yule gifts for my life partner. I love how huge the store is, and there is truly something for everyone: Crystals, card decks, jewelry, mugs, soaps, etc. The selection of card decks as well as books are quite large. I especially love the sections on the upper level that focus on a specific theme: Wiccan/Pagan, Goddess, Herbal Magick, the Fae, Angels, etc. It has become one of my favorite places in Poughkeepsie, NY, and I look forward to returning well before January, 2024!!
