Michael is wonderful. Unlike some corporations that only care about the money. Michael truly cares about his customers and the products that he is repairing. I would highly recommend him, because he is friendly, passionate and genuine. When I first met him 3 years ago he said to me I never want to rip my customers off and even better paying for his service is top dollar and genuine quality :)

I recently had a disappointing experience with Eagle Shoe Repair. Despite Michael’s guarantee of a spotless cleaning for my Prada bag, it looked untouched when I picked it up. I paid $200 for a service that clearly wasn't delivered. It is important to note that he had me pay prior to picking up the bag and again, guaranteed if it was not perfect, he would “work with me.” When I called to express my dissatisfaction, the owner argued with me and refused any reimbursement. I cannot recommend this place based on their unfulfilled promises and poor customer service.See before and after pictures below. (After is the more zoomed in one)

Michael is truly amazing! I’m 3 months postpartum and didn’t fit into a bridesmaid dress I have to wear in a week. He worked true magic. Not only did he have it fitting perfectly but he got it done in just 1 week. I’m so grateful for his impeccable work but even more grateful for his kindness and sensitivity to my feelings during this transitional time in my life. He’s wonderful.

Michael is a super talented tailor - he has altered several jackets and suits for me, and they all come out perfect! Im always amazed at how skillful he is - its a custom fit every time. Highly recommended!!

Women's dress shoes had damage on the strap. Loved them. Eagle swore he could fix that spot like new for $40 up front. Result: highly visible. He claimed it was fine and didn't offer a refund. Shoes in the garbage. 5 stars for the honest guy who says they can't be fixed.

He is extremely professional, honest, competent, knowledgeable and intelligent. He works magic. I hope he stays in Port Washington for a very long time!

Michael is a knowledgeable craftsman - a careful tailor and cobbler . The quality of his work is superb - and I’ve given him some challenging jobs(from boots to resizing button down shirts, pants, and billowy blouses).
