Have been going to the salon on LIin Woodbury, NY for a few months now, and am very pleased. Lori cuts/styles my hair, and she is terrific. She listens to what I want and does a great job with my hair. She is always pleasant and easy to communicate with. The salon is conveniently located near my home, has plenty of parking, and the prices are quite reasonable.
Update: I have continued to patronize this salon and am very satisfied with it. My stylist, Lori, cuts and styles my hair very well. She makes me feel very comfortable and is a lot of fun!

Went in asking for a cleanup, just an inch or 2 off the top and low tapper fade on the sides. The hispanic lady cutting my hair said “ok!” And decides to completely butcher the fade, push up my hairline for no reason, then decides she wants to gel up my hair. I didn’t realize how bad my haircut was until i got out of the shower an hour later. Everything was either uneven or messy, its like she was “self taught” with a lazy eye. I decided to go to another barber to fix my haircut and ended up having a weird looking buzz cut.
Long story short I should have walked out as soon as she mentioned putting in gel. -1 stars ?

Today was my first visited in the Plainview Supecuts location. I received exceptional, professional service with Lori.
Lori is a true professional in every way. Very attentive and knows exactly what is needed and dies it efficiently. Lori is a true asset to the Plainview shop.
The shop is run with all covid regulations and the stylists are always adhering to the new regulations. The shop is extremely clean and well maintained.

When you walk in, they tell you you have to book appointment. When you make an appointment and then go, you find 3 people in front of you and there's only one lady working there. And she has to answer calls and do everything else. I was thinking I might be in doctor's office

I've been to same supercut for many years. I've always been happy with the service, except this last time. Every time I get a haircut, I always REQUEST to do a quick rinse my hair after the cut to get rid of cut hairs off my head instead of blowing it away (hardly happen). But this last experience (4/7/24) with new hairstylist, she REFUSED to acknowledge my Request. I WAS NOT HAPPY, but I still gave her a good tip (20%) which I always do everytime. Hopefully next time I go, any hairstylist will acknowledge my request as a paying customer. Thank you
