Had an appointment taken right away - Christina was right on target and so helpful for my specialty bra for my sons wedding and also learning my size - getting a regular bar and bathing suit - I'll be back!

This place deserves LESS than one star… They are SO unprofessional and have NO respect for their customers. VERY poor customer service. It costs $0.00 to be kind to others. This is NO way to run a business. Absolutely unacceptable.

My mother got her wedding corset from this shop in the 90s so when it was my turn to get married, she referred me here. This shop made finding a longline bra such a painless and stress free process. All of the employees were amazing and fussed over me. They also handled the alterations for my gown! Prices were more than fair. I plan to use them for all future alterations needs!

Had an absolutely fabulous experience with my wedding gown fitting and alterations as well as the mother of the bride and bridesmaids dress. Laura is amazing and the staff is warm and friendly, was easy and convenient and everything came out beautiful. Have had other items altered here and they always come out perfect and also picked up a coverup for my honeymoon. One stop shop.

I feel I was fitted incorrectly. She sized me for a 32 when I never wore a size 32 in my life which I told her . I had a feeling I bought five bras and went home. Tried them on again. Way too small. They had my money now, so I went back to ask for a size 34. They said they had a special order it which is just why I figured I was given a 32. I also asked if it was going to be a long time till they receive that special order and they said NO it won't be long. Well, it has been three weeks and I have not received a call. I called and asked the status and they said they can't give it to me. You'll know when we call you. I proceeded to let them know I will be traveling for the next two months and if they don't have it by Friday in two days, I need a refund. I was told they will not give me a refund we don't do that and the lady that I spoke to on the phone was rude, so rude and nasty that I said goodbye and hung up. She actually called me back just to hang up on me. No class, no polish, poor business. I will never do business there again and I live in the neighborhood.

My experience this time, and much needed, was, nurturing people and a person who knew so much about bras, swimsuits and the like. Got a wealth of knowledge from some of my previous misnomers of how to fit and wash bras properly. So, the good news is that I got one bra a perfect fit. The bad. Dang!! Only one, as they do not make this particular one anymore. While they have others that need adjustments the second one does not fit so well and I will be going back to get a few adjustments made. Though I really needed to get proper ones as much as I like online companies, what I have, just did not fit correctly. The bathing suit much the same experience as she found one that I feel is so pretty and definitely fits better than the ones I have. They say next month they shall be getting a Lot of more to choose from. The cost are high and I had not even asked what the layout was first, but with things like this and being a hard fit, I need to lay it out and I used a credit card to pay. Also when Georgettes closed in her passing (a fine lady may she r.i.p.) there are not other local places to go. I noted other reviews. Don't know who was rude and that should never happen as it is a business supposing professional if nothing else. However I had a good experience and felt these two particular ladies were kind and helpful. Sigh!

Although the ladies spent a lot of time with me for a mastectomy fitting, there were two red flags. Beware, although they do the mastectomy fitting, and they complete insurance paperwork, they did not warm me before hand that I had to lay out over $700.00 for a prostheses, insert and a filler and a bra. I did not know this until I went up to the register. Not everyone has this type of money floating around. I know I will get reimbursement but I learned an unfortunate lesson. They should have forewarned me about their policy. The second red flag is that they only had one bra in my size that they recommended and had to order the others. They said they had other bras but refused to show them to me. Maybe I took too much of their time up. Minus two stars for the 2 issues.

I am usually not one to bash businesses but I am so upset how my mother was treated during her appointment here today. She had a 12:30 pm appointment and arrived 5 mins early at 12:25. The woman was rude and commented on her being too early and told her rudely "just go in the middle dressing room". She continued to speak rudely to my mother and talk to her like she was a child. My mom said she just wanted to burst into tears but kept her composure as she needed to just order the bra for my brothers upcoming wedding. I asked for the name of the representative who assisted her and she didn't know the name as she was too upset and just wanted to get it over with. She ordered what she needed and left only to sit and cry in the car because of her awful experience. I am furious she even gave them her business. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!

I have been going to Mary Corsetieres Ltd. for bras since 1978 when it was called Mary and Lil’s at a different local location in Plainview. Mary’s daughter Chrissy took care of my daughter today. This is the most pleasant place to get bras and bathing suits that are not “cookie cut”. You start out getting measured, then you are fitted to perfection, and finally each bra gets stitched to make sure it fits you for the highest level of comfort. If you have never been to Mary Corsetieres before you will be blown away with how honest and professional they are. There’s no sugar coating here; you are fitted to be comfortable and to wear the bra the exact way it should be worn. After an amazing experience, you will walk out with your new bras that have undergone alterations with a Singer sewing machine by a highly qualified seamstress. There is no place quite like Mary’s and once you go once for yourself or for your daughters, you will be 100% addicted and never go anywhere else ever again. Highly recommend!!!

Worst experience ever at Mary Corsetieres, the rudeness of one employee was outrageous. I’d give 0 stars to this business if I could.It was my third visit to pick up bras I ordered weeks ago. After spending over $600.00, I was told I couldn’t try on the altered bras… after an ok from the boss, with two open dressing rooms, I was yelled at for going into the wrong room, totally ridiculous!The owner should have stepped in and stopped her rude employee!

My first time shopping in Mary's was this summer. I needed a bra for my son's wedding and, notwithstanding their rudeness and arrogance (of which I had been forewarned), I ended up buying two tee shirt bras in addition to a strapless one for the gown. The only reason this establishment gets one star is because the woman who did the fitting at the time was very warm and helpful. It goes down from there. They were just so rude. After a few months, the hook on one of the t-shirt bras started to twist and pull away. This was a $55 bra that was barely worn, still looked new, and was in great shape except for the damaged hook. I called the store, knowing they frown upon walk-ins, and told them the problem. The clerk matter-of-factly told me to bring the bra in with the receipt. Luckily, I had kept the receipt. I went there this afternoon and before the door even closed behind me I was met with an abrupt, "Do you have an appointment?" No "hello." No "May I help you?" So rude. I reminded her that we had just spoken, and she said, "Oh yeah, let me see it." I handed her the bra and receipt and she couldn't help but point out that the order was placed in July. She brought the bra to the back of the store to the seamstress. When she came out, she said I could wait, or leave and come back, and it will be $3.00! Under the circumstances and already annoyed at my treatment, I expressed shock that they would charge anything to repair something that was only a few months old. When I objected on principle, she went back and said, "She doesn't want to pay the $3.00 to fix it!" It was so rude and insulting. Who do they think they are?? When she came back out, she snidely asked me how I washed the bra, insinuating that I had caused the damage. I was only sitting for two or three minutes when the seamstress brought the bra out with a resting b**** face. She walked right over to me, tossed the bra at me, and said, "Merry Christmas" dismissively. I was speechless. I was there for less than ten minutes. I have never been treated so poorly by a business. They act like they are doing you a big favor. I will shop in Soma from now on. Never again.

DO NOT GO HERE. There are much better places that are honest and better quality. They don't tell you that you can't return the bras because they "sew" some part of it which is probably a lie and don't even measure you to begin with.They sized my mother completely wrong and were incredibly rude when she tried to return it or exchange it for something that fit better. They insisted that they were right and refused to fix the situation. How can you run a bra place when you cant even measure someone correctly and when my mom asked to be measured, the OWNER told her that she didn't know how to but she just "knew what she was doing". Clearly, she does not. It is a total scam and the owner CHRISTINA is a cheapskate who just cares about making money and getting you out of the door because once you leave your money is gone and there is no getting it back once you realize that they're incompetent and sold you the wrong thing. Definitely overpriced for the service and quality of bras you get considering the fact that one of the clips broke 2 days after getting it and not even wearing it yet. Never dealt with a ruder person in my life. Trust me and take your business elsewhere where you will be respected and valued as a customer.
