Please be careful of this bank they handed me counterfeit $100 & $50 bill I received one of each out of a $1,000 withdrawal several weeks ago. I went to pay for my groceries with the money I withdrew from this plainview branch and I was told by the supermarket cashier I had 2 counterfeit bills. I told the supermarket I withdrew the money from this bank no less than 10 minutes ago and they told me they could do nothing about it. So because of the teller's mishap I am at a loss of $150. Also there are 2 somewhat rude bank associates one named Kate who only assists & has LONG meetings with Asian customers & a very complacent, uninterested financial advisor named Gavin (I think is his name) who stares at his watch & cell phone while "helping" a Chase customer do some small scale investing like myself. I am not looking to be coddled as a customer but these 2 employees have no sense of customer service and only seem to care about filling their work hours and cherry pick who they want to help on whatever day they feel like. This bank also has a tendency to be either tremendously busy with no one to help you or just tremendously empty with the wrong types of associates who just stare at the customer & hope another bank associate in this branch will be bothered enough to tend to their banking needs.
For these few reasons alone I have happily moved on to a more competent & caring Chase branch who value my time & banking needs as important.
Please I implore the bank customers who use this plainview branch to BEWARE of the way this bank does business in this branch extremely shady & lazy in their ways.

For anyone reading "Tracy LI NY"s review of late March, 2024, ignore it, as there's something seriously wrong w/her, (obvious from her review). Not only is her review a repetitive garbled *mess* of grammatical, spelling & punctuation errors; her bizarre, paranoid rant is concerning. Her Google profile shows 95% of her reviews were *all* done on the same day 2 wks ago, & many had similarly negative, implausible rants - BIG "?'s"!
I knew this branch quite well, also Chase's policies & employee regulations, so I'm quite sure (if she's even "real"), that SHE was/is the cause of any issues, & made all that nonsense up... ie: ★This branch is fine to bank at!

Trust Warning - Kate Chen - Refused to assist me on 3 visits to the bank - She is a Danger to any regular customer or small biz. She refused to follow Chase policy - after a complaint - Had Chase terminate my account. A corporate employee notified me it was her making calls to close my account. DO NOT TRUST THIS BRANCH or Associate. She will operate behind the scenes. In this case I had just finished as caretaker for 8 months - non stop NYC travel, stays in hotels, all for a close friend finishing a transplant. Had to get back to Chase to clear up overdrafts. Went in as directed by Chase with checks, Kate seeing the overdrafts, frowned at me in disgust, refused direction on the phone from Chase clearance, ignoring her clearance call and claiming too late to finish work as it was close to 5. Then behind the scenes froze my account and reported me as a risk and closed my relationship with Chase. DO NOT TRUST THIS. After being out of work for months, her actions were demoralizing and interfered with my recovery of work matters, after saving my friends life. She was HORRIBLE. While being told to return by Chases call center and apologized to three times to remedy I went back, innocently waiting three times to finish my biz at this branch as told to go there.. she hid in bathroom refusing to come out and assist, another day stayed out driving for 30 minutes on break, and staff apologized.... then saw me looked annoyed - and told me She was not going to assist as she did not plan to use her computer any more for the day. I had to return three times! thinking too busy.. All the while it was because she had already put in a report to terminate my account with Chase. She had specific directions from the office and refused to follow, until she was able to convince the security department to close my account.WARNING She will sniper and harm CHASE customers. DO NOT TRUST WITH STOCK, BANKING or anything. She is a DANGER TO YOUR ACCOUNTS AND REPUTATION thinking no one will know. She is not a trusted advisor, a helpful banker, but a risky person to do any financial biz with. Sneaky untrustworthy behavior, instead of direct and honest communication. STEER CLEAR OF THIS BRANCH AND AGENT.

Great bank for all banking needs. The staff from the manager to all the tellers are wonderful, knowledgeable, polite and friendly, I wouldn't think of banking anywhere else this branch is exceptional.

My review is for Mr. Steven R Cox, Branch Manager at Chase bank in Plainview. A very decent, respectful, helpful, amicable gentleman. Nothing left to be said. Thank you Steven. Customer service is rare these days but you 'got it', when very few seem to 'get it', these days.

Indian lady banker was extremely rude and judgmental. Being of Indian origin, I am familiar with this attitude all too well. We left and went to the other Chase bank nearby to open our account.

So impressed with EVERYTHING in this bank. Opening the account was a snap, and they gave me a cash "bonus" for doing so! Staff is great, so courteous and helpful. Loving everything about this bank!

Nice bank with good staff, short lines and free coffee. Also has drive-thru banking and ATMs. As a negative, I just went by and the drive-thru ATM was out of service, but this is still a good branch. If I remember correctly, this one has a part-time notary, but I could be mistaken...definitely not full-time unfortunately.

Compared to other branches, the service is awful. I walked into a completely empty bank and asked to speak to a banker. Even though there wasn't any customer waiting, they told me to wait for someone. While I was waiting, Two bankers were just chitchatting. Very unprofessional.
After a banker came to help me, instead if assisting me with my question, he tried to sell products to me.
The two start are for cleanliness of the bank, it was extremely clean. Thank you janitors!
