Since the reviews here are from a few years ago we weren't sure it was open, but we went yesterday and indeed it is. We spent a good long time talking with the owner. It's such a unique place. There are some unusual plants and trees, plus the more conventional stock. Since it's the end of the season, plus we've had a drought, it could look a little bedraggled to anyone looking for polished rows of plants, but to a veteran gardener it's clear what's there. Plus the owner was generous in his advice about what to plant now. He also has a passionate interest in wellness and is eager to share his knowledge about mushrooms in particular. He doesn't sell mushrooms, but it is an interest. We will definitely be going back. He does landscape design, but this is also a retail nursery.

Kids love it there! Been taking my children on special occasions and they love it. But I need to revisit the nursery soon. Their wood pile always makes me want to get a wood burning fireplace :)
