Though this store isn't as BiG as one of those nation wide sporting goods store, they have quite the variety and most often have what I'm looking for- fishing or hunting. James is quite knowledgeable of thermal scopes and really helped us get it set up and understand the scopes functions. He encouraged us 2call any time with questions- and we found it very helpful 2call twice after purchase. He Was very patient and simplified instructions to navigate the features we wanted.

Wow the older guy that waited me and my daughter was SO rude! I don't know if that's his normal demeanor with customers or what. I asked him a question about the product I was buying, he flicked his wrist at me and gave a dismissive rude reply, without answering my question! The whole encounter was uncomfortable. We sure won't be back!

The employees treat their customers like garbage, every time I have ever gone I was ignored and or treated poorly all to look at absolutely abysmal prices. If I could give this place zero stars I would. All the positive things I hear about whitetail come from people who are friends with the employees or pay tons of money on a regular basis. The prices were garbage even before inflation, DO NOT GO.

The area needs a sporting goods store, but service is poor, you frequently have to wait a long time for help, their fly selection is poor and just recently the store was closed when it should have been opened according to their online hours. I will say the weather was bad that evening, but they should alert customers to hour changes in some way, it was a wasted trip.

I'm an avid fisherman and I'm in whitetail on a weekly basis. I can't say enough about how knowledgeable the staff is there. I like to support local businesses and have no problem giving them my business: they've got the best selection around and prices are great, especially on rods and reels. I've purchased several rods and reels there and I can't even beat the prices online. They don't just sell the stuff in the store , they know the sport and that's appreciated.

I’ve been a loyal costumer but when told that they won’t sell ammunition to me bc I’m not 21 after buying three forearms from them. As of now all ammunition purchases require you to tell them your occupation they take your license and track the lot number. I’ll be shopping else where for now on

bought a brand new Hoyt last year from these guys, the salesman was nice but the tech who set my bow up was not friendly and did not do a good job. I've shot maybe 100 arrows through it and the peep fell out, the D-loop failed and string is fraying where the rest connects. 10 out of 10 do not recommend

Poor prices and lazy customer service. Wanted to buy a fly rod and reel that their website was in stock but was not on display. They couldn’t be bothered to check to see if they had it and said to check back in a week to see if it was there. Absolutely pathetic store.

I buy a lot of my reloading supplies here. Even given the state of the reloading supplies, there is still a Good selection of bullets, and a decent selection of powders here.

This is a gem. They have a good selection of hunting and fishing products at fair prices. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. If you are a sportsman its worth paying them a visit.
