I had been avoiding a haircut for a while. I came here through a recommendation from a friend, and I am so happy that I did. Nanshua is an expert with curly hair. I trusted her throughout the process. My hair came out great and I can't wait for my next visit.

There are few curly hair experts in Nassau County that truly understand natural hair (3b-4C). I used to go to Devachan, Dickies and Ouidad and now that I live in LI I go to Nanshua and she is on par with all of these curl expert salons.

Nanshua is absolutely incredible, I have been going to her for several years for everything from cut, color and more recently my extensions. She color matches perfectly, and knows exactly what I like and want always, usually better than I do. I can’t say enough good things about her services and professionalism. I would highly recommend her for all your hair needs!

I almost hate to write this review because I don’t want my secret to get out, but you have to love someone this good at what they do. Nanshua was the first hairdresser in a DECADE to get my hair right. I had resorted to doing it myself because of the fact that most people don’t LISTEN and just have the same few styles they know how to do. At a point, you kind of give up. I was pretty much done when I found Nanshua. She was the first person to listen to my goals and give me helpful advice in a kind and thoughtful manner. This was my first time coming into this salon and I met with Nanshua. She was very kind, patient, and informative. I came in simply to color correct my hair and talking throughout the appointment she informed me that she was also a curly hair specialist certified to cut/style curly hair which was amazing because not only did she help with the dye I also ended up getting a curly cut as well, which was very much needed. I showed her some example photos for what I was going for to see what we could do. From there she gave me a nice round look, cut some layers to help with volume and for the first time I got bangs. I left so satisfied and happy with my cut. Very pleased a new do to start off the new year. :)Services: Hairstyling

I have been patronizing Nanshua for too many years to remember. I’ve gotten a variety of hairstyles, including natural, weaves, and now micro links. Nanshua can do it all and very well. She is so skilled and such a lovely person. I usually detest going to hair salons- but hers is different. It’s private and she will gladly wear a mask if asked. I highly recommend her salon.
