If you shop here, DON’T. The manager, she is blonde and wrinkled. She’s most distinguishable by her muffin top because her shirts are usually too tight. Anywho, she followed me around the store, even though I’ve never have even shop-lifted, or committed any sort of criminal activity while shopping in the store. I was looking through the Arts&Crafts section, and she showed up at the end of the isle asking if I needed help finding anything, and I said “No, why?” Because I have been there several times and have seen her, never had she even bothered asking until this one time not only that it was very belittling the way she was asking me, as if I was a toddler. She didn’t reply.. so I continued on saying “Do you need help finding anything?” She said “No” then walked away. I soon realized a couple mins have passed when in a different isle, I turn around and see Ms.ILiveForDrama following me. When confronted on why I’m being followed, I stated that I’m here to get my items and go. She replied with “Yeah, not to pay for them”. She was clearly implying I was shop-lifting. She insisted on arguing with me, claiming it’s her store and she owns it and I can shop elsewhere if I don’t like it. I asked when if she had a staring problem, she continued to sit there for an additional 3 minutes watching me shop with my elderly grandfather and my mother. If I could give a 0 rating I would, very unprofessional staff and lack there of respect for the customers.

I stopped at the dollar general near my house on the holy day for Christians called silent Wednesday (April 5th 2023) I and everyone I know stops in there and has a good experience unless it's the store manager I'm about to make a complaint about. I'll tell you my visit today then explain most customers experience with her. Today 4/5/23 I stopped in to get a charger cable for my phone and grabbed jelly beans for my toddlers, then Also decided to grab one of the single cans of beers as I do nearly daily (even from this "manager") this day being drunk and high and slurring her words as normal and everyone can tell you is ordinary with her, was upset because somebody called in right before I was checking out and she was trying to speak her best saying she couldn't do whatever because her cashier was late. I even asked who's that an annoying customer, to which she biligetently replied barely understandably "corporate." She began to ring up my 3 items for todays visit when she angrily asked for my ID which I thought was kind of cool for the first time in 5 or 6 years. I gave it to her and it was a few weeks expired apparently as I carry as a seizure disabled American an identification card. I said oh haha I'll have to get it renewed for another 8 years when I get home. To which she promptly and again belligerently replied with many curse words about me not being able to buy the 1 beer. I said okay I'll just take the cable for my phone to which she started again barely legible swearing at me for no comprehension said "ypu hit me get out!" Whiich I don't even know what that means but I left the time for cameras was between 245and 310pm. She's known as a drunk drug user in the community and now that she's being an aggressive drunk drug user I think she unfortunately needs to be told about this incident and let go God pray she'll find the help she needs. Until she is gone I have advised everyone on ally social media's about her and that store. I'll place my full credentials and honored memember of my church, children's school and community as faith in this statement. It is not my intention to hurt but to help even her maybe this will be a wake up call.

Dollar General is a quick in and out if you just need a couple things and don't want to go to a bigger box store.
They have a little bit of almost everything.

I actually like this store it's always clean and the people who work there are always nice and helpful and I always am able to go in find what I need and it doesn't take forever witch is pretty nice specially when ur in a hurry
