Nice little truck stop, parking is never full. Lots of space. Cafe and store are 24hr, they have a seating area to eat. I waited 30 mins for 2 sandwiches & small fries. It was ok, mostly dry, not as fresh as I had hoped. The fries were atrocious.

Staff seem irritated
$5 for one scoop of Mac n Cheese is a bit absurd.
Also got a milkshake that was just basically milk, no thickness at all.

Tried to order subs and was told to wait while he helps a customer. 8 minutes later I still haven't talked to anyone. So tried calling again. Same guy named Michael answered. I asked if I can order food and he said yes and put the phone down and again for another 10 minutes. Pretty sad you can't take an order in over 15 minutes.

cute little place! food was a bit greasy, but fast food is just like that sometimes. Lot of different options, a good rest spot on a road trip

Ordered a pizza tonight from here and arrive to pick it up and the guy in back making the food was grabbing his boxers and jeans and never changed his gloves before touching food. Will not order food from here again. And the only thing that was said was I’m sorry that happened. Make the employees follow the food protocols of changing gloves after touching anything at all that’s not the food they are making.

Nearly 20 minutes to get two milkshakes made. And it wasn’t even busy. They had one person making food and another girl just wandering around. I guess she was on break? Bad customer service.

Price said 2 for 2.50 for some beer, and total somehow came to 3.80. Cashier tried to explain its taxes or something but that wouldn’t raise it 1.30 for 2 cheap beers. Isn’t the first time stuff like this has happened here, they don’t care

The Nichols Dandy & Travel plaza should update it's employees on what a travel center is. My fiance and I travel for work so while traveling headed to the closest travel center to park over night and while using the restroom to freshen up n change my clothes the cashier working came in the bathroom and stood next to my stall stood there then walked back out. About 6 to 7mins later while I'm mid change , standing there half dressed the woman knocks on my stall and says her co worker was worried about me. I replied no need for your co worker to be concerned, I'm just using the bathroom and changing my clothes.she said "WELL YOU TAKE AN EXCESSIVELY LONG TIME IN YHE BATHROOM" This is a travel center last I checked your allowed to change your clothes and use the public restroom and rest at the travel center ?? She then stated "NO ACTUALLY ITS NOT, ITS TO USE THE BATHROOM AND GO! she then leaves and YELLs to her coWORKER "SHE SAYS SHES CHANGING HER CLOTHES AND USING THE BATHROOM, THATS OK IM CHECKING BACK IN TEN MINUTES AND IF SHES STILL HERE ILL CALL THE COPS AND HAVE HER REMOVED FROM THE PROPERTY!" IM filing a formal complaint this cashier was clearly judging me n must have thought I was doing something sinister or illegal but couldn't be farther off ... she was way out of line and treated a customer like a criminal and harassed me the whole time I was there and threatened me trying to intimidate me with the police. If I wasn't as tired as I was I would have challenged her to call the police and watch her look stupid trying to explain why she's harassing ppl using the travel center for what's it's designed for. There are no rules posted that it's not a travel center and there s time limit in restroom use n get out youre not allowed to change clothing or God forbid you have to #2 better not dillydally cashier bitch face is timing you. I plan on complaining about her obnoxious behavior all the way up the corporate latter until somebody reprimands this woman. She needs to get a life and a different job! Know what you're talking about before u run your mouth cashier c***
