They extort money from 69 year old seniors by letting them run out of propane in dead winter. Then they charge them a new customer setup fee and a full tank up front prior to a refill. 300 dollars to a guy on fixed income. I always pay 1/3 of the bill each month to pay it all in 3 months. I get a delivery 4 to 5 months apart. I changed providers after delivery and have waited 2 weeks and 2 phone calls each Monday for them to pick up their tank for free and refund the money for the returned gas. Last Monday they agreed on the phone to pay 50 dollars a day to rent space on my property for the tank. I earned 250 dollars from them this week.

Switched us to pay in advance without letting us know, let our tank go empty, and then proved very difficult about getting it refilled. This was a much better company when it was Weaver Gas.

DiSanto propane has been a pleasure to work with. Steve came out to take a look at the job and worked with me to come up with the best solution for getting a tank in the ground. They lived up to their word and everyone I have worked with at DiSanto has been helpful and a pleasure. Honestly can't say enough good things. I will add that I must have gotten estimates from at least 6 different companies and DiSanto was the company that followed through and did the best work to get this done. Very happy I chose them.

Fast courteous and prompt delivery excellent service department very knowledgeable, they work on new construction residential and Commercial. Tank installation and removal and the unique thing about the company is you pay for what goes through which is installed on the building or your home

The worse company ever. We were originally with weaver and they bought the company. Used Weaver name for several years. As customers were should have been notified of the changes. Since Covid they have changed our account, now we have to call for delivery. Prepay an amount that we don’t use. It’s time for a change. New customers stay away. Bad business.

DiSanto Propane has you covered when it comes to delivering propane. I have been their customer (through Weaver Gas) since I bought my first and only house in 2006. I started with a single propane tank and converted to much more efficient (than oil) propane for my heating, cooking, drying, and 10K whole house generator. Recently, I had DiSanto Propane bury a 300 gallon tank and get rid of those unsightly above ground cylindrical tanks. The excavation was professional and surprisingly affordable. I wish I had buried the tank years ago!I am always nervous about running out of propane as the supply is finite (no underground gas here). But DiSanto Propane monitors your usage practically to the exact number, meaning they know how much propane you use and will not let you run out. This means everything to me. Customer service is courteous and patient: Nicole has been assuring me since 2006 that I will not run out of propane and she has never let me come close! I highly recommend you get your propane from DiSanto Propane. They will not let you down, and their price protection plan is competitive with anyone's in the area.

It is hard to describe how absolutely AWFUL this company is. Reasons:
1. It is not a local Newburgh company (though it used to be). It is now owned by an upstate company I believe. They have no commitment to local users and in fact seem to despise local people.
2. They change a monthly "tank" fee for the propane tanks (used to be $6 a month when I left a few years ago). Other companies don't do that.
3. They don't send out monthly accounts. They say CUSTOMERS should keep track of their accounts and pay accordingly!
4. Their customer "service" - particularly Nicole - is rude and just plain nasty.
5. They charge more than other companies for propane.
6. When you sell your house, move, or change companies, they drag their feet picking up the tanks (charging you all the while). It took us over 7 months to get a refund, which we only got because we complained to the NYS Department of Consumer Affairs (who were very familiar with Weaver Gas and its customers' complaints, it turned out)..
We left Weaver, even though we had almost-full tanks, because dealing with them was so stressful and they are so dishonest. We changed to Mirabito and have had no worries at all since then. And Mirabito's customer service is professional and polite and efficient. Mirabito also - like other companies - doesn't change a per-month rental fee for their tanks.
STAY AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE FROM WEAVER GAS, NEWBURGH.

Weaver Gas is now DiSanto Propane and the change is reflected in their friendly and helpful customer service. The main thing is this company has never let me run out of propane in the 10 years I have been their customer and unlike some companies they buy back any unused propane you have when done with the company. You cannot expect to get the refund quickly but you can be sure you will get it. Have never had a billing issue or any service problems. You call them they come right out. Recommend.

These guys are so bad, customer service is horrendous. Its hard to replace providers because they have the tank, but definetely worth considering someone else if you have the option

So they stopped delivering to me because I had a credit on my account. I call them to to arrange for delivery and to get an explanation. A less than well mannered woman named Gina(I think) does nothing but argue with me over the phone. She continually insists on giving me a history lesson of my account. Not once does she answer the questions I ask her. She just keeps arguing over my voice... more interested in proving that she is right. She just wants to win the argument that she started in the first place. She claimed they called and left me message many times. I never received any messages. So, In frustration I hang up the phone. The next day, the empty tank is gone from my property... No phone call or anything. These people should not be allowed to own a business. I really wish I could give them less than one star here.

We have been waiting for a refund for 6 months. We found out that disanto propane owns weaver gas. The corporate address is 11098 route 31 clyde ny and the owner is jonah disanto 12895 messner rd savannah ny. I would like to make a class action suit against them.
