Alli, the instructor, was super welcoming and knowledgeable and led a very challenging class. The space is clean and well-stocked with equipment, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the workouts are engaging and scalable to wherever you're at that day. I'd highly recommend Oculus whether you live in NYC or are just visiting like I was.”

42 E 12th St, New York“I have been working with Keith for 6 months and could not be happier. Tremendous results: I am much stronger, my posture has improved and have lost 10 pounds. I love the environment at Nimble - it is welcoming and friendly, no attitude. I always feel better after my work out sessions with Keith - I am looking forward to continuing this journey in 2024.”
“This was a really cute, neighborhood gym. It had all of the modern amenities that one would need from a gym, but with a more intimate, community feel. I did a fitness class with them and left feeling worked out and stronger. If I lived in the neighborhood, I’d go here all of the time.”

220 W 16th St, New York“Iron Bodyfit is my Gym! Love the concept and format while I have a gym and pool in my building I’m lazy to find motivation to train for hours. This 25mn exercise with electro stimulation is perfect for me. Quick but very satisfying. Feeling energized for the rest of the day. Alex and James are great coaches who know how to push your limits. No more back and knee pain anymore.”

411 W 39th St, New York“I can't say enough amazing things about this place! First and foremost, it's an amazing group of qualified, fun, caring and compassionate humans - coaches and members alike. EVERYone - and every BODY - feels welcome here. If you're looking for a great community of people to work out with, this is the place for you!”
“Very intense workout but worth it!!!! If you are into HIIT - the very intense kind, this is the place to go.1. The space is very clean and neat. It is minimalism in prison theme while you do feel the quality details the staff put in the area. From the cleaning product, dryer, toiletries, etc. It has everything you need in a cozy space. No shoes in the work out space.2. The workout space is very well designed. It is cool and feels open but also like in a camp. The whole space makes you feel like you are training in a prison cell (a lovely version, of course). It helps to focus on the workout with the black wall and very upbeat music, The floor is all yoga mat material, so it is very soft. If you tend to sweat a lot, I suggest wearing good grip socks. I find it slippery sometimes when I go barefoot without knowing what to expect.3. The instructor has very good energy. He will do the demo. He is strict and encouraging. So you have someone to push you but don’t worry if you can’t keep it up. Just go with your pace with quality workouts rather than quantity. After the workout, I am a total hot mess drowning in my sweat. I had a nice shower right after and felt like a refreshed soul.”
5AM - 9:30PM
219 Sherman Ave, New York“Love this place. My membership is strictly for access to the gym not for the classes. The space itself is well kept and very open. It is perfect for a workout. I enjoy the easy access into the gym, simply open the door with my cellphone and get to work. I go in the early mornings and usually have the space all to myself and my tunes. Also Eoghan is awesome, he designed specific strength programs to improve my strength for my jujitsu training. I have nothing but positive things to say about Uptown Movement it is a really great place with wonderful people.”
“Atomic Total Fitness has changed my over-40 body! It's the only way I've been able to stay consistent with my strength training. My trainer TJ is fantastic and each session is customized to exactly what I need to work on. If you're thinking about changing your routine for the new year definitely hit up the team at Atomic.”

600 6th Ave, New York“I love sweat 440! They’re so friendly, amenities are clean, classes happen so regularly you can always fit one into a busy schedule. Couldn’t recommend enough!”
“instructors are terrific- ask around for they have varying levels of intensity. Preferred over Pure Barre who harasses you non stop. watch out they charged me a no show fee when I did show i classes are small the other athletes are nice and welcoming.”
“I've been going to Physique57 for over 10 years(all 3 different Soho studios over the years as well as FiDi when it was open) and it remains one of my favorite workouts! It is fun, all of the instructors are awesome- energetic, helpful with adjustments and encouraging. It was a great workout for while I was pregnant and during the pandemic I still enjoyed live classes at home. The new studio is nice but wish it still had showers. I go directly to work after but it seems most people go home and wouldn't utilize that options so I understand why they got rid of it. Physique is a hard workout - there is no denying it, but once you have gone a few times you get the hang of it and it is very rewarding.”
“ERICA!!!!!! I swear she was hands down the reason I'm coming back for real. Her class for the first time really had me rethinking life. 1st, I was like hmmmm this might be easy. I have done pilates and soul cycle, so lifting a little weights a BREEZE. Sykeeeee, this was a beginners intense class for glutes & quads. I did squat thrust 95lbs, I might say, and was very PROUD of myself. Overall, Erica, THANK YOU!! The fire on me today pushed me to book again lol.Noble, you are a true gem to the trooper facility from the moment you greeted me when I finished the class. I appreciate you for the tour also. The facility is located on the 2nd floor, so you ring the bell and enter the glass door, not the black door. Showers, bathrooms, and lockers are available. The gym is super clean, and trust me, you gonna need to sit, lol.”

647 E 9th St, New York“I can't say enough great things about this CrossFit gym in the Lower East Side! The sense of community here is truly exceptional. From day one, I felt like I was part of a supportive and motivating family. The coaches are incredibly knowledgeable and dedicated to helping each member achieve their fitness goals. They take the time to provide personalized guidance and ensure proper form, which has been crucial for my progress. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced athlete, this gym provides a welcoming environment to challenge yourself and grow. I've seen remarkable results since joining and credit both the amazing community and the expertise of the coaches. If you're looking for a place where your fitness journey will be both effective and enjoyable, this is the spot to be!”

Love that the coaches push you to work hard and will suggest harder/heavier exercise options if they see it fitting for you. The sessions are challenging but you will feel amazing afterwards. No matter your fitness level, you will feel welcomed here.”

“My Grassroots Fitness Project trainer, Emily, is the absolute best. She tailors each session to my body’s needs and my fitness goals. I’m always impressed by her wealth of knowledge and how she’s able to draw from so many disciplines to keep our workouts varied and fresh. Plus, she can motivate like no other. Thank you, Emily! Thank you, GFP!”
“I took the Saturday class with coach Gab, she is fantastic! She kept the class very motivated and engaged. Everything is clean and the overall energy of the space and staff was inviting.”
“I came to visit Complete by Body to get information on the gym services. Not only was the place nice I was also greeted by a young lady named Tiana, she was so helpful gave me a lot of information on the gym and its services. I left feeling very informed. Will definitely consider coming to be apart of this gym!”

“I train with Itay, he is the best!He motivates with excellent feedback and easy to understand workout routines. Not over busy and the machines are new and clean….I highly recommend this wonderful gym!”

6AM - 5PM
1 Renwick St, New York“I highly recommend a training session at Dogpound NY.Functional training with Justin was fun and challenging ??? I’ll definitely come back when I’m in NYC again. Thanks a great workout!”
“This place makes me happy! The West Village gym is clean, well appointed, feels safe, upbeat and has very friendly staff. I do wish the boxing bags were more accessible. You have to catch it between classes since the bags hang in the room where fitness classes happen. I also wish there were more abductor and adductor weight machines and chest presses. I find I have to wait my turn a bit too much and lose my workout momentum. Many pluses though! Very clean, safe locker rooms and showers on the basement level w an attendant present. Member check-in at the front desk is easy and quick. Upstairs you have 3 floors of workout space, cardio machines, weight machines, free weights, benches and a stretch area w yoga matts and rollers. Painted ceiling, cheeky neon signs, fun music and large windows create a really uplifting feel to the place. The stretch area is appointed w yellow shag pillows and disco balls galore. Lol Like I said, this place makes me happy.”
“OTF W92nd street is a special place, to put it mildly. Not only has this studio given me a solid and consistent place to workout, but it has given me friends that have become family. I actually *enjoy* going to the gym now. The workouts are challenging, the coaches are fantastic and motivating, and the community is truly unmatched. I am forever grateful I signed up to be part of this studio.”
“This place & community is so fun & encouraging! Always get to enjoy a great workout with good music led by an awesome instructor. Honestly, this has made spin/cycle class a big part of my workout routine & I highly recommend it. Try a class!”
