We found this hidden gem for our first wedding anniversary in 2016 and have been coming back ever since (now with two kids). Each time it gets better and better. My husband, dog, and I stayed here for a couple days last month, and we had a blast! Maria, the owner, was so kind and welcoming to us, and even had a tray of fresh baked cookies waiting when we arrived.Our room was very spacious and comfy, and our dog felt right at home. The grounds are beautiful, and the pool was refreshing on a hot day. It was only a 7 min drive to town, which made it easy to get to dinner/shops. Delicious daily, homemade breakfast was a nice touch! Would love to return in the future!Nearby activities: Hiking

Not only was the place impeccably clean, comfortable and conveniently located but Maria was an incredible host. The breakfasts were delicious with home baked pastries, eggs and French toast cooked to perfection.
It is obvious that Maria takes great pride with providing comfort and satisfaction to her guests. This was our first visit but we will be back!!

Comfortable room with lovely views of the Shawangunks out over a massive lawn that our dogs loved exploring. Great home-made breakfasts by a friendly host. It's several miles out of town, so transportation is necessary: we were on bicycles and could take the River to Ridge trail to within a quarter mile of the hotel.

The hosts, Maria and Joe are delightful. We stayed in the Sage Room which was nicely appointed. Breakfast was delicious and we sat outside looking up at the water tower at Mohonk. Just the way to start your day. They have a fire pit on the back lawn- just the way to end the

We came to Mountain Meadows partly because of the wonderful reviews we had read. We made an arrangement with the owners to rent a room for 31 days during a month when there very few other guests. . We paid well over over 4000$ with the understanding that no breakfasts would be provided ( which was fine with us. .It was the worst experience we have ever had anywhere and we have been to a great many places. The situation was so untenable and stressful that we had to leave after 9 days and forfeited the rent that we paid. My husband and I, a retired senior couple, were treated very poorly . I am so very sorry to have to relate this.

I went back from my second trip and just want to keep going back again! Maria and Joe are just the best! Maria is so kind, funny, attentive & accommodating on top of being an amazing cook! My wife and I were here for three days in October. Our room (the Sunflower Room) was spacious, clean, and bright. Breakfasts were excellent and Maria was a great host. The property is Located in a spacious meadow and the Bauman’s have set a delightful array of chairs surrounding a fire pit. Highly recommended.

A wonderful B&B located a few minutes outside of town with everything you could ask for - game room, access to kitchen, fully prepped room, and a breathtaking backyard meadow. Breakfast was excellent and Maria was a lovely host.

My wife and I stayed 9-10 thru 9-13 when we could not get a reservation at the Mohonk Mountain Lodge where we stayed many years ago. I have only given 1 review for a restaurant and this is my 2nd. We had a great stay-everything perfect- Maria and Joe the hosts and owners are hands on and we're terrific and made sure everything was ok and the breakfasts were as good as you can get at a 5 star hotel There recommendations for where to go for food-corn-fruit etc were on the money. The accommodations were A-1.

We had a lovely stay there, felt like being home. The host was so delightful. She greeted us so pleasantly and had some delicious cookies made for us. When we got back from our dinner, she had the fireplace ready for us. And the next morning, she prepared a great breakfast with fresh farm eggs. The place is kept so clean. We will definitely stay there again.

My twin sister & I stayed there during the 1st week of June and just had the perfect weekend! Maria & Joe were amazing! So cute & charming, Spectacular view, delicious food, fragrant peonies & flowers, fun pool & hot tub & game room. We just felt at home and had the best time. We can’t wait to go back!

My wife and i had an awesome time with Maria and Joe....they spare no expense to make you feel at home and comfortable....5 acres gives you that easy peaceful feeling. Not to mention Maria is an awesome Cook...Breakfasts are outstanding ....We are already booked again....can't wait to go back....

We enjoyed every minute of our time here! The room was comfortable and the food was delicious. Maria was a lovely host and very well informed about local places to enjoy. Her every recommendation was spot on. I would happily go back, especially in the warmer weather because that pool looks amazing!
